As a person who's lived in an RV for the last two years by choice (which I am very, very thankful for), when we hit the road I was astounded at the lack of places a person can actually sleep overnight at, without getting harassed. Even in our new RV, we were told to scram. It was a real eye opener and made me more cognizant of the terrible reality that so many Americans face every day. Freedom? Here? What a joke. We are so most definitely NOT free.
We were there. The police took all the blankets, and cardboard (used as insulation from the ground), and all else these people needed for shelter, they called it evidence of camping. These people are trying to stay alive. The weather was icy cold. Those without homes faded off into the dark for the night, some without blankets. Is this America???? There were about 30 police, they arrested one woman. Tax dollars at work.
The United States is sending Billions of Dollars over to Haiti, meanwhile Homeless Americans freeze to death.

gotta love freedom....Land of the free......
From McMansions to McTents.
When these people were residing in their McMansions they would have detested homeless people residing about their property!. Good luck to them.
The policy officers are defending private property.

@halfasheep Yeah I'm sure all these people used to have McMansions before this. Either you're a troll or some new kind of retarded.
