what kind of hand held scanner is that? I've built DIY laser scanners using David3D Scanner software and the artifacting is ridiculous.. the one you have seems to work amazing, even without a calibration panel behind your object.

Nice video, I have used Tebis CAD-CAM software years ago for this kind of material but in mold-die industry.
