yeah!!! i'm happy with the song 'cause has great singers like robbie, kylie and westlife!!! i just hate that miley cyrus is in the song i mean what the f&ck is she doing there?????
i cnt believe wat happened it guts me to think how they feel life will never be the same for haiti thats why im doing my part in this im walking 200 miles just to help them all ill be doin this on the 21st of may this year and i hope watever i raise can help them in any way it's heartbreaking just to think about it :'( and i hope they can rebuild thier community with wat i raise and the CD cuz i believe in them all if i cud ill stand by them and help save life's :'(
my school did a non uniform day for haiti and raised 1,500 euro and a teacher moved to haiti years ago and she came back and shes going to give them the money
I actually prefer Everybody Hurts over We Are The World. Mostly cuz this song has all my fave singers in it while We Are The World has just a couple singers I like....the rest of those singers I've never even heard of. :P
Michael Buble is Canadian, Rod Stewart, Jon Bon Jovi and Mariah Carey's American, There's a couple Irish singers in there too like Joe McElderry (who won X-Factor recently), Shane Filan and Mark Feehily are of the Irish pop group Westlife, Susan Boyle's Scottish....
Absolutely Fantastic Song.... I'm Sure Many People May Now Agree With What I'm About To Say, But I'm Also Sure Some Will Disagree... Anyway, here goes....
Listening To This I Think The Song Makes Us Feel Some Of The Raw Emotion Due To The Upsetting Circumstances Of What Has Happened & I Think All The Singer's Have Done A Fantastic Job.
I Also Agree With The Three Comments Made Below Mine (MCFCFAN1000, RoyMo99 & xxxfunnyflirtsxxx
I think this is really good, It doesn't matter whether you like it or not,or because its Simon Cowell who got the stars together, its is about all those people in Haiti who are in need of Happiness!.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I won't be buying this, no thanks. Number 1: Simon Cowell gets money out of this. N2: the song choice doesn't really make sense. N3: Miley Cyrus? Really?
can i say that i wouldn't really want to buy the CD single at the cost of £3.99. They can sell it for £1.99 and they still get a lot of money with the sales. but that's always the case with charity singles charge more cause they want to make more money.
so do tell me how is posting this video on Youtube helping the people of HAITI? I my view it just means less people are going to go out and purchase the single when they can listen to it for free on here and that does no good at all
@ Rosalie1996Cullen, how exactly is she spoilt? I don't think they got to choose what lines they sung, they were given them..and leona got just as many lines to sing, so I dnt know what your on about...and why does it matter anyway?! this song is to raise money, not about who gets the most lines to sing!
well said we shouldnt care about who gets more lines someone else we should be looking into the future to help these poor people get into a stable hospital and be taken care of!
This is an awesome song and applies to a lot of victims in this world. Who cares what they look like...it's not about the "who" its about the "what". Come on people.
The song is performed by 21 artists: Leona Lewis, Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey, Cheryl Cole, Mika, Michael Bublé, Joe McElderry, Miley Cyrus, James Blunt, Gary Barlow and Mark Owen of Take That, Jon Bon Jovi, James Morrison, Alexandra Burke, Susan Boyle, Aston Merrygold and Marvin Humes of JLS, Shane Filan and Mark Feehily of Westlife, Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams
Doe's anyone have a video with the singers actually singing this song? it would be nice to see them all doing it for real instead of a still image or a slideshow? remember the old Bandaid video?
This may as well be an everyone who has been involved in x factor!! I swear everyone on this song was either from x factor/a judge or someone who performed on the show this year!!
Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, Maria Carey? X Factor? of course some of them have been contestants but just as many are big stars years before X Factor came along, some of those may have been mentors on X Factor, but so what, what is your point?
How typical that today they do a remake for a charitable cause. "We Are the World" had its impact because it was an original song. The only one admirable in this project is Michael Stipe, who wrote the song.
Open your eyes, its not about whos singing or is the song original, its WHY are they doing it and the HELP and AID the PROCEEDS will bring to the people of HAITI????
Using a remake song is phoning it in. Coming up with an original song like they did in 1985 shows much more of a genuine concern. With an original song, it showed that the artists were passionate about the cause by putting their heart and soul in it, thus inspiring people to donate. Here, they just picked a song, spent an hour in the studio recording it and then they ask for your money. I won't be buying the record. I'll donate directly to people who actually put forth an effort.
Beautiful. Everyone did amazing. You can really hear the emotion in their voices. Besides, it's not about whether you like the song or not or about who sings the best. It's about the cause. Even if the song was trash, I'd buy it for the sake of everyone in Haiti.
yh woteva dude, everione's got diff opinion, but admit it, lady gaga's amaizing and her performances are spectatular, shes not a MAN so get ova ureself, shes pretty AND SHES NOT A DOG UNLIKE CHERYL COLE, And wtf did cheryl cole do for the world, type in lady gaga and go on wikipedia and read bout her before u say anything. on the musical side, i know quiality doesnt matter but, they shouldve used less people. and maybe had famous instrumentalists too, not just singers.
but good job simon cowell and all the performers.
