I'm surprised the PS2 has lasted this long, who knows in years to come it will probably get an award for longest surviving console in history.

I've been playing on my PS2 lately because I can't be bothered getting out my PS3.

They made games for the PS1 for 10 years, then kept making the systems for another year, then discontinued them, so I wonder how much longer the PS2 will last

I completely Agree with you i only Have Ps2,GC,Xbox (i cant sell them i have to much games i like), What i dont understand is why they dont Upgrade the Ps2 with Better graphic card make the Game more Colorefuller but with the same prize. They only change the Size like Slim but i wish the Ps2 will be alive until 2010 enjoy the last time with the Ps2 :)

What Sam meant was that the PS2 is still releasing many games. When the PS1 and NES were at the end of their lives, they didn't have many games being released on their systems. The NES and PS1 were just being sold at the end of their lives.

lol the PS2's an original. They'll keep making them because it's what keeps Sony alive. The PSP's aren't being sold and the PS3's are so expensive. But they have to keep them that way because of how much money they're losing to Nintendo consoles.

I think the Playstation 1 was copying the Nintendo 64 coz it came out around the time the 64 died (as in they don't make it anymore) and the controls are the same on the controller. if you disagree, thats fine im just saying. Good job, ^_^

LOL I agree with almost everything you said, but about the PSOne coming around when the 64 died, no, it came over a year before the 64 came out. And died like almost 3 years after the 64 died.

Denox Great video! I agree with everything you said in this video. The PS2 will stay until 2010 which will be it's 10th year.I'm glad Sony is able to make their system last so long. But I'm still a Nintendo fan. I just like the PS2 , because it was the home console for many RPGs ,and Anime based games. Now there's Wii and DS. they a couple RPGs and Anime games. I bet Otakus are happy with their PS2. Anyways I'll stay with my Nintendo Consoles for now. I can't wait to get a DSi! ^_^

Yea, I'm a nintendo fan too but I like the PS2 alot too, it has a huge library of games that the N64 or Gamecube never had and I'm surprized at Sony for that^^ Thanks for the comment btw^^

Ninty's sales are so high thanks to Nintendo's innovative systems. DS: Two Screens, one is a touch, built in mic, and now with the DSi a 3.1 Camera and a 1.3 inside. Wii's revolutionary controls. Nothing else to say.

Sony is at the bottom of the sales. Nintendo is at the top because they have original game play like how the Wii has motion controls, and how the DS has touch screens and 2 screans

Yup that's true, which is exactly why Sony still has the PS2, Nintendo DS alone probably still outsales all 3 sony systems combined in my opinion.^^

Another DSi Nonbeliever... It's again Nintendo's way on nabbing more people and bringing them into the gaming scene. SALES WILL BOOST TO A MAX OBVIOUSLY. It's the big N's way of making a system for everyone. Dumb Nintendo fans hate it, I state again DUMB Nintendo fans, hate it.
