Probably the most insane challenge in Ace Combat is having an epic dogfight with Pixy or some other ace while the Hrimfaxi/Scinfaxi launch missiles, Stonehenge bombards the sky, and Excalibur lazing the area. All of it timed. >:DD

@Cryogenx37 With the Hrimfaxi shooting, you need to get above 5000 feet, with Stonehedge shooting, you need to get below 2000ft, it being timed is not possible, you'd die the first time the super weapons fire.

What I find funny is that in the beginning of the game, they say that it was economic decline and later collapse that brought the crazy Fascist government into power in Belka, meaning that before the war, Belka was pretty damn poor, but somehow they can afford to make a giant tower that shoots a big laser, a massive mega-bomber that can serve as a flying HQ and a super nuke that can destroy all civilization. How the hell did they afford all that?

@SlipcasedJayce But that makes no sense. That would just lead to inflation, which would make Belka even poorer. If you just print more money and put that money into circulation, its worth goes down and the country becomes even poorer. Germany tried that during the Great Depression to pay of its debts for war reparations in the aftermath of World War I and ended up becoming so poor, a thousand Reichsmark couldn't buy you a loaf of bread.

@Killzoneguy117 - You make a good point about inflation. But to a warmongering authoritarian government, money is just paper with a number on it. They'll just print as much as they need, completely ignorant of the economic consequences or how the public will be affected. If there was a reserve of precious metals to back that currency, then yes, for sure your point would stand.

@SlipcasedJayce I think perhaps a more valid explanation would be endless slave labor and a large minerals industry for Belka to provide the raw materials and slave labor for the refinement of those minerals and the construction of the superweapons.
