  • it's free?!

  • The beta is :P

  • what do u mean by beta? u could download? what will happen to the old one?

  • ... 2010 is a beta...

  • why is it asking me to activate this version?

  • geez. I mean, making microsoft office every single year would be pretty stupid .

I am going to get this on my new laptop

  • Idk, for me it just look the same to 2007 =/

  • im happy with 2003

  • so wait microsoft is a bitch and skips 2008 and 2009 for pc but let apple have 2008? WTF

  • 2008 is hardly different from 2007. If you're so fussed about it, get a Mac

  • lol but its kinda dumb if they skip 2008 and 2009 for pc though

  • lol

  • apple didnt get 2007

  • i didnt say apple got 2007

  • Does this overwrite office 2007? I mean can I have my Office 2007 AND the 2010BETA?

  • @LucasA84, it does not overwrite 2007, you can install 2010 side by side.

  • Thank you for your answer.

  • Does the download package inlude the serial key?...coz i forgot to copy it down from the download page

  • smart one. lol just register it again.

  • @MrRohizzy Yes But You Get The Serial Key In An Email

  • Looks interesting. I might get it.

  • wats the diffrence betwwen the business one and the homw one isnt it the same

  • i think home doesnt have a couple of programs.

  • the beta will be expired ?

  • i will so get it on my laptop for school next year and i cant believe it lets you have it for nearly a year!!!

    thanks so much PcWizKid!!!!!

    u r so smart

  • Tried it out. Right click doesn't work for me in word, for some reason. I've sent MS a sad face, presumably the issue will be addressed before the RC

  • i will stick with google docs

  • LOL

  • same with me.

  • it is the same ad 2007 dont get it

  • DAMNIT! U NEED SP3

  • Just update your computer to SP3 than. o_O

    It's free.

  • Would the beta version of 2010 overwrite 2007 if you currently have it installed? I love that it's a free beta but don't want to lose my current 2007 version if I want to fall back on that.

    -- Ton :-)

  • it will overwrite your 2007, it will say prompt you to upgrade your 2007 but will not delete it. So if you don't like the 2010, you can just uninstall it and what it leaves you is your MS office 2007 back. ^_^

  • I stick with My 2007 then 2010 becouse it sucks

  • it's starting to look like word 97 again, except for the ribbon, it looks really dull

by the way i still have word 97 on my xp :o

    lol

  • On the bottom of the window in older versions of Office, it would tell you where the flashing line is (not sure the name of it, but it's the vertical flashing line where information gets typed, like when posting this comment for instance). Example, it would say "At 2.1". Is there a way to enable office to tell you where you're located on the document instead of using the rulers on the side?

  • when it expires will the original microsoft office go back to the original one i already had?

  • can't wait for the final version.

  • Shouldn't it be 'PCWhizKid'?

  • @turxxx

If that is what he was going for, yes, but apparently he wasn't.

  • Who are you? And how do you know what he was going for?

  • @turxxx

Maybe he wanted to, but someone already took it.

  • office 2007 looks better

  • i like MS word 07 better it looks MUCH better

  • Graciaaas, vuelva prontoo :]

  • I guess the professional is ok but i got Professional Plus about 2-3 weeks ago and its way better

  • I got it a while ago and it is awesome :)

Once this expires I can just use office online or openoffice :)

  • Thanks, I'm grabbing it now...

  • cool

  • Some how I like windows 2007 better !~

    thanks for sharing.

    Nice to see your videos.

  • HELP ME PCWIZKID! I cant go to the microsoft website :(

  • He can't help you with that...

  • what do u use to record and where did u get ur cursor????!?!?!?!

  • cursorfx

  • camstudio he uses and its on his website

  • When does this come out?

  • @echoes15 Summer 2010

  • i probably will not be getting it. I use Openoffice. I'm more of a freeware open-source kinda user.

  • Excel is the best of his kind. I will only get office 2010 for that if its like 2003. If not I will still use the 2003 version.

  • please, please How do u install proofing tolls? I cant instali 2007 proofing tools, is there any way to have proofng tools on new beta? pls hlp!

  • I guess I'll get it once my 2007 ones run out. Unless they turn out to be crap, obviously. But I doubt that.

  • Iv had it for like a week. I like it.

  • I am using office (outlook) 2010, I came from 2003, I am surprised at the lack of actual technical improvements it seems to be just a facelift and the fact it runs slower not much more. Still no proper export/import feature for accounts and seems to take me longer to do things than in outlook 2003, also a warning for nod32 users this appears to not be compatible as my emails are not getting tagged as scanned. Some very basic features remain missing from outlook.

  • rofl i guess its worth the 248432.99$ upgrade then..

  • Don't be an ass. And he's not stupid..

  • u do it then it is a quicker way to hack the regesiry files i done it it done wat it says

  • lol do you not know PCWizKid is clever then you!!

  • no he aint he never plays games i had a full version of win 7 before him i know more stuff than him etc etc his pc wouldnt be abel 2 handel battlefield 1942 cause its rubish

  • oh and how many subscribers do you have....

  • Umm...he's not that dumb to actually do that....

  • Didn't any teacher in your school have heard of torrents??? Nah, just kidding XD.

The only inconvenient that happened to me was that I made a file in power point, was kinda awesome to be my first project, but when the teacher tried to use it in his computer, nothing worked T_T.

Now I use my bro's laptop to make everything lol

  • they are getting monitored now lol ): shame torrents rule

  • Is this on other languages except for English? I want Greek!

  • Yes

  • Are you sure it has Greek at the Beta version? If it has then I'll surely download it!

  • its got a lot of languages i think geek would be in there

  • I just downloaded Office 2010, it's absolutely great. I love the new features in PowerPoint:

    New transitions, animation effects, etc.

Artistic effects on images, i.e. watercolour, skethc, etc.

As far as I can see there aren't that many changes in Word yet, and I haven't tested the other programs.

(It's a lot faster as far as I can see).

Great video, by the way, PCWizKid

  • well the beat might not be copatible with 07 and 03

    so for that reason no

  • nah not intrested ... though would like too see some previews from it!!! thx pcWizzer

  • good!

  • This won't work if you keep your previous version of Office when you install Office 2010.

  • The last time I downloaded Office 2010, my Office 2007 crashed. After uninstalling Office 2010 I finally got all the Office 2007 programs to work except Outlook. Outlook 2007 is still infected by that stupid office 2010.

  • of course i will get it!

  • I downloaded Office 2010 Beta Pro Plus when the office public beta came out, but then switched to Office 2010 Home and Business using Click-to-Run and it's awesome. Loads fast and works great.

  • I'll get this for sure! :D

  • if its free it must be guuud

  • My College just got Office 2007. Still running Windows XP.

  • awesome :) gona try it now

  • still useing 2000 at my school!

  • office 2010 for me!

  • REALY FCKIN' AWESOME

  • same thing happens to my school

  • What, no Microsoft Expression Web ?

  • me too

  • interface still sux ... MS office 2003 ftw !!!!! :)))

  • Don't think I'm gonna get it yet, because we're using Microsoft Office 9 at my school.

  • Downloadin' :D

  • This thing is fast!

  • It seems Microsoft is finally getting the idea.

  • @pcwizkid when do you know when the full version is out of the office 2010

  • I already tried this new MS office 2010, it is good but I didnt like, reverted back to Office 2007.

One of the good things in Word 2010 is that you can work with it in full screen mode.

  • I had to install the whole suite in the 07 version!!!

  • I didn't get this to work with 64bit win7. :(

    Well open office ftw.

  • Download 64Bit version of Office 2010 Beta .-.

  • lol of cource xD

  • CAn I have 2010 and 2007 installed at the same machine? no hm,?

  • @abcborgess Yea. Or you can upgrade yiur 2007 to 2010.

  • I think you can.

  • Thanks. I'll try this out.

  • looks like 2007...

  • niceeee...

  • I still have 2003, and I'm not switching from it ^.^

  • i think i'm set with Office 2007

  • @tupacole Yeah me 2 m8 ... do whats necessary only/

  • thx i'm downloading now

  • At last a new office! I can't stand Office 2007!

  • Brilliant!

  • @PCWizKid whats your default OS? the one you browse with and use most?

  • It looks the same as the wordpad does that's already on Windows 7. I don't think I will be installing it, unless I figure out I need it to do a project or whatever.

  • well, its FREE, and its the beta ribbon i assume, they will enhance the look later most likely

  • I don't think they will. The interface is going to still look like that. And I know it's free, but what's the point of installing if I don't need it? It also won't be free when it does come out, so if it isn't different by then, the only reason I'd actually get it is to use Excel or Powerpoint. I also just don't have enough hard drive space on my computer at the moment to install it.

  • what about open office?

  • great video

  • yes, in a word lol

  • vista + office 2007 = hell

  • win7 + office 2012 = WONDERFUL

  • 2012 X.x that will take like 20 years - 2days+ 5 years-25years+5days-3days+2years OMG

  • hhahah sorry, i just went to see the movie 2012 and i meant to type 2010

  • i wonder if 2010 will have a 2007 skin cuz i think 2007 looks better

  • cool

  • Pc wixkid , qUESTIAN, WINDOWS 7 HOME 64 BIT OR WINDOWS HOME 32 BIT. The reson im asking is cause i have , windows 7 home 64 bit on my cmputer, and ive had nothing but issues , with folders , and installing wow. snce the 3rd of this month , ive had to install 6 times. Wha am i doing wrong?

  • @purplewolfpimp, it sounds like you need to install the 32bit version for the apps you are running.

  • unless hes running apps from the year 2000 64 bit is the way to go right now.

  • Ya noone ever told me , i need the 32 bit version , for my apps so just tonight i went back to xp home. cause i got tired of the windows 7. and now sence i cant take it back too microcenter , to get my money , back , i just lost 100 dollers.

  • @Jimmyfrominwood

    Agreed.

  • not bad

  • I already have office 2010, and it's definitely better than 2007, it runs faster and has a lot of new cool features you can use. I totally recommend this over 2003 or 2007.

  • I've got the beta... got it the day after it was released. Running on Windows 7 Home Premium. Everything works fantically! I can't wait for the final release in June!

  • I just use it for the pure speed... Sure, the interface looks nice ]

But office 2010 plus windows 7 = pure blazing speed.

  • looks good but OPEN OFFICE FOR THE WIN jk its nice but i use it just because it's free =P

  • downloading now,....how is it

  • people who commented like 1 min ago u guys didnt even watch the video yet!!!

  • cool

  • wow looks good

  • do you recommend 2010, 2007 or 2003? cuz i still got a 2003 one pretty sick people say 2003 was better than 2007 did they improve the 2010 so it be like the xp vista and 7 thing? xp better than vista and 7 better than xp.

and like same for this 2003 is better than 2007 and 2010 is better than 2003?

    thx

  • 2003 or 2007 cause its stable

    well if u want (2010)

  • Looks very nice o.O
