What does a trip like this cost? Obviously it would largely depend on "where" you start from. Starting from Australia or India, would be more expensive than starting from Canada or the Continental USA (excluding Alaska?). So hypothetically, with a starting point in the Eastern USA (me), does anybody have any idea what a trip would cost? Under or over $10k? I've always dreamed of visiting the Canadian arctic. IMO it's not only fascinating, but also 1 of the most beautiful places n earth.

Be careful when you trek on Beechey! Seamen Torrington, Braine, and Hartnell haven't "eaten" for over 160 years! "Brains... BRAAAIIINNNSSS!"

If your thinking to go to Beechey Island someday,OMG!!,you'll have to dress very warm,but its best to go in april or may,its not that cold.

That music, with the graves... a strange tribute to brave men who died in terrible circumstances. The silence is much better, and also the solitude. How much fame and money with the human drama????
