  • I knew Price would triumph. By dint of being Price. haha

  • OMG!! How did they do that without CGI?!?!? They must really be wizards.

  • I loved the film! Got it for Christmas yesterday. Was a lot of fun.

  • You pay the price when you fuck with Price!

  • @kufygfykt Aw yeahhh

  • THIS is how a magic duel should go: methodical, creative, and an uncanny mix between humor and horror.

  • 2:17 oh god weeping angel hounds!!!

  • I love Vincent's cheeky little grin at 5:43 . . . it almost looks as if to say "I'm sorry, is this seat taken? It's mine now."

  • pretty good...I'm sure this was another low budget movie from american international just shows you what can be done with a small budget . So don't make fun of it.

  • One of the funniest movies ever made! It's a delight to see Vincent, Peter and Boris having the time of their lives!

And this duel! Man, when I was a kid, I thought this was the coolest thing I had ever seen. It's still awesome! And the effects are great, considering the low buget :)

  • Wow. Boris Karloff vs Vincent Price.

  • Minuto 3:02 ==> Jack Nicholson

  • @dctangoar jajaja!!! yes!!!!

  • Haa, at the end Scarabus lost the fight because he was only using 9 fingers, left pinky being bent with arthritis :)))

It has it's moments ... Love the *special* special effects! - TNX!

  • Hahahahahahahahahahaahahaahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaahahahaahahahaahaaa this is the wooooorst trash movie i've ever seen!!!!! And i have seen tons of them!!! This is worst than ricky oh the story of ricky and evenly mached with leprechaun 2 and almost worst than return of the living dead

  • Look how young Jack Nicholson was

  • im pretty sure that peter jackson was inspired by this fightscene , the battle between gandalf and saruman is very close to this one.

  • SORCERER'S DUEL! ...FEATURING PINK FLOYD! =D

  • Absolutely hysterical! A true cinema classic!!!

  • das ist so ein atemberaubender film.... so toll gemacht... einfach unbeschreiblich

  • This special effects are hell alot better than the B-movies of today!

  • @Unitronus hahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahaha omg

  • This was great when I was a kid.

Sadly, for me, It has lost all it's "magic".

P.S. The station "This" cut out almost all of the fight scene.

  • wow, the special effects were actually pretty good in this, for a 60's movie.

  • @thelastmagician

The 60s was not the horse & buggy days.

Dear, We had everything you have today.

Except for computers, cell phones & video games.

But we had better music & only 5 hour school days! :)

We also had the good fortune to spend our Halloween season watching Boris Karloff & Vincent Price on television that we did not have to pay for cable!

Great & not so greedy era!

  • One of the greatest movies ever made:::::Charles S. Pootingturd.

  • can anyone post the movie?

  • omg i used to watch this movie as a kid for halloween around, it was sooo funny and also creepy, but this part with the duel is too funny. i mean its a period piece but they actually used the "new years" music when the confetti dropped LOL. also a exgtremly young jack nicholson, LOL

  • This movie is simply put, the shit.

  • I love the "Aw, dammit" look on his face at 4:03. So funny.

  • Oh sweet goodness, the redhead on the right at 1:35. *sweat*

  • She is very sweet looking! That's either Olive Sturgess or Hazel Court as Wikipedia lists two women, but I don't know who's supposed to be whom in this clip.

  • It's Hazel Court. She was AIP's horror queen in the company's heyday.

  • she actually really annoyed me. i like the blonde better.

  • Thanx i loved this when i was a kid!

  • This is such a great movie, and the best wizard's duel ever filmed. (I swear this movie shaped my childhood.)

  • Yeahh!!!!!!!!!!!! the best!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh yeah! My favorite part of my favorite halloween movie! I really love how this escalates. I wonder if J. K. Rowling saw this long ago... Thank goodness I have a copy, can't find a place to rent this anymore. Thanks for uploading this!

  • I don't know if Rowling saw this, but Gary Gygax is known to have said that magic in D&D was based heavily on this movie, indeed, the darts and barriers resemble Magic Missile and Shield very much, and the fireballs work almost exactly the same.

  • Thanks for posting!!
