My load times increase and decrease on modern hardware, to about the speed of this vid. Just when i update a bios. Sometimes updating a bios leaves me with slow load times. Load times are the equivlant to waking up for school, some kids are just slow and grumpy. But once theyre up, THEYRE UP.

Thats not the Mac Boot Screen, theres no bar it's a rotating circle. Macs start a lot faster than that, the log on screens screwed up, though it does the bar on the top pretty damn well.

Ok, you don't get it. OS X is not about the skin or the docks but the entire package. Before I switched to the mac, I used to Skin XP with Aqua skins, change the icons and use mac-like app skins but in the end it was still XP with a different skin.

Google "NeXTStep". Apple bought out NeXT back in 1996 IIRC. NeXTStep had a dock and docklets back in the 80's. Apple had Desk accessories back in 1984 with the Lisa. OS X is a direct descendant of NeXTStep/OpenStep with a few mac related technologies thrown in.

.. Its not hard to make Gnome/KDE to look like Mac at all. Windows, yes, yes its a pain in the ass.. Linux its not... I can make any KDE or Gnome look like Mac OS X 10.3 in under an hour.... Buts its just a look alike... Not the real thing though.. If you really want the real thing, why buy a Mac? Go download the OSX86 port :p

2.use a dock software, and a mac-like skin, also you need other software to make those finder,help...
