  • Is this a real thing? They can't be serious...

  • They mention Lincoln was Republican, but the Republicans of his time were the liberal ones and the Democrats of that time were the conservative ones.

  • I would say that if the only reason someone voted for a candidate is based on a traits, such as race, sex, age, religion... and even political party then, yes I would have to question the voters critical thinking skills ; )

None of those fa...ctors or traits have anything to do with the candidates leadership skills, track record or ability to govern.

  • How many blacks have Republicans elected to the current Senate & House?

    This is not 1860.

  • @DillonDee1 I think a better question is how many Blacks are Republicans getting elected into the next Congress? This is 2010

  • @Mporor -- how many black Republicans were elected to the Sen & House in this election vs Dems?

  • @DillonDee1 Of the 14 Black Republican candidates 2 were elected, both Representatives.

  • @Mporor -- in modern times -- since 1930 there have been over 100 black members of the House of Representatives.

Only 2 have been Republicans because they tend to oppose programs to give them a hand up.

  • This should run in Rochester NY in the lead up to 2012. Wish I had seen this earlier than Nov 2.

  • Awesome!!! Let's get out the vote folks!!

  • I have hope for all our children's futures. I grew up believing with all my heart Martin Luther King Jr's words about character over color, and all the other wonderful things he said that I truly believed.

It's sadden me to see the liberals divide us. I've been called a racist for leaving the Democratic party line and thinking on my own. My thoughts don't matter, only that I'm white so I must be racist to oppose Obama.

Martin Luther King Jr's dream hasn't disappeared.

  • a lot of black people remember always voting republican

  • thank you for this video. Allen West is a gift. I am a simple blue collar worker, rarely donate to candidates. I will give a max campaign contribution if he is on the ticket in 2012. West for prez!

  • @Kymimom You are so right!

  • Fabulous video! Well done! Keep spreading the word. Vote for candidates who will stand for liberty and limited government, not slavery to the state.

  • @caraclaudel a better choice is...slavery to a corporation?

  • @Kymimom, huh? No. A better choice is liberty and limited government.

  • Hiram Rhodes Revels : go to Wiki, Read about how He was dismissed from Alcorn in 1874 when he campaigned against the reelection of Governor of Mississippi Adelbert Ames.( A republican) He was reappointed in 1876 by the new Democratic administration and served until his retirement in 1882.

  • I LOVE, LOVE LOVE ALAN WEST!! He is a man of impeccable honor and class!! I pray that more black people will stop with the Democratic loyalty....because honestly, are you any better off to continue voting Dem...just what HAVE they done to help, other than get more on the entitlement merry go round?

  • So if we all follow this logic train....I as a woman should have voted for PALIN because ( and only because ) she is a woman... yeah right LMAO

  • @Kymimom actually, that's not the point. The appeal is too people that vote for only those in our race because they have been told they need to or be sell-outs. That also means voting Democrat only - now there is an option for THOSE people. If you think for yourself, and not how someone tells you too, you probably have already voted for SOME Republicans right?

  • I am non-partisan. In case you are not familiar this, it means I vote for the candidate. I have and will split my vote according to candidates. Your black faces tell me nothing about who you are as an individual and certainly as a candidate!!! The African Americans who happen to be Republican, and have willingly participated in this video, should be ashamed of yourself. Have you seriously participated in your party's attempt to belittle the voting intelligence of your own race?

  • @TheRowilli That last sentence doesn't sound non-partisan to me.

  • @TheRowilli - These are men and women of great, GREAT character. If you continue to listen to and believe revisionist history, then you will live in ignorance and poverty of spirit the remainder of your days.

  • @TheRowilli sis, I support your position 100%. However, this is just a market appeal nothing more. Blacks as a voting block only vote Democrat because we have been told too and that it is a racial requirement. This gives an option and appeal to any ignorant people who believe that. It would be an insult, if the masses of our people were already thinking for themselves.

  • Furthermore, it's very interesting you you avoided highlighting how African Americans began to predominately vote Democrat! Not a complicated science...again simply by default! Great Depression, all of America suffering but especially African Americans, those most discriminated against! So, FDR signs the bill that gives birth to Social Welfare...this policy benefits those hit hardest by the derpession...surprise, surprise, African Americans. So again, that's where the party shift comes!!!

  • This is the most offensive video I have ever seen!!!!!!!! Are you freakin kidding me! I do not vote by party affiliation and I certainly do not vote for a BLACK FACE! I am an educated AMERICAN and I vote for the candidate. Discuss the facts you offense bigots...Lincoln was opposed to a separation of our country, the union, NOT SLAVERY! As a result for about 2 seconds African Americans became Republican, until individuals associated with that party, showed their true lack of tollerance for color

  • @TheRowilli "....As a result for about 2 seconds African Americans became Republican, until individuals associated with that party, showed their true lack of tollerance for color....."

What party was the KKK? What party was the South until the 1960s? More than 2 seconds, dude.

  • @Yehudittx LOL! if that's what you base your decisions upon, you might want to check your history first - the answers are: the Democrat party - how silly..I guess another case of not picking up a book and letting someone tell you our history huh?

  • @MrYourperson Exactly! That was my point to @TheRowilli

  • @Yehudittx sorry, her rant lasted so long /i missed that portion of the tirade. You are correct and I agree.

  • @Yehudittx Truth is MORE Dems are and have been associated with the KKK than Republicans!

  • The producer might want to learn how to spell 'Renaissance.'

  • Great video!
