I love the Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch! Since my favorite eye concealer is Laura Mercier's Camoflage duo, I really need the Clarins base on otherwise I cannot spread the Laura Mercier concealer! I'm going to pick up another jar this summer--lasts a long time and is so reasonably priced!
@JeanneRousseau Hi, thanks for your comments :) I tried the LM comoflage and I had thought I just got a bad batch (and I thought THAT'S why it's so hard to spread and smooth out)- good to know I wasn't the only one! lol! I see how the smooth perfecting touch would make it much easier to apply!!
I'm telling you, this Clarins base in the cute red jar is the PERFECT companion to Laura Mercier's camoflage duo! It goes on like butter (you get my point!).
Let me know if you try it out together? I'm sure you'll be pretty pleased : ) Jeanne
@linzib1 wow thanks!! whenever I start a tutorial, I feel like "oh great, I am going to get tons of negative feedback on my crappy skin"- so I am very shocked you think I have good skin! lol! thanks so much- you just made my day!!
hi thanks for posting this tutorial. i want to know if clarins extra firming foundation is easy to spread on the face with or without the use of a brush? is the consistency liquidy? does it dry out easily? i used to use clarins hydrating foundation (w/c is amazing!) but got discontinued & looking for a replacement. thanks!
hi these are great questions! it's very easy to spread (i can even use my fingers and i like it), it stays a little dewy- more like a satin finish- not drying at all. i hope this helps!!
wow wow wow!!!! I have never tried clarins, i have been looking for a great foundation and i think you just sold me on this one!!!! ty for this video! looks beautiful on you!
Oh I got this brush in a swap a while back! It doesn't have a name- I think it's from a mineral makeup company. It's basically a synthetic kabuki brush on a long stick lol! if that makes any sense? Have you tried the MAC 189 Face Brush? It's AWESOME- so much better than the average 190!
Oooo this is so pretty, you have such nice skin :) What shade would you recommend in this foundation if I'm NW25in Mac? Would this foundation be good for really oily skin? Thanks!!
ok your camera is so annoying.
