totally agree with you on the 12012 and paint. I picked up watercolor and fell in love with it. Acrylic, the first time I picked it up it was :/ My art teach said it was alright though, I know that painting's not done though, I'll finish it one day. I painted a mural in acrylic in my neighborhood though, but it was a way different surface, not canvas and smoother too, it was fun!
A mural? Nice. Yeah I felt like I could control watercolor more than acrylic. When I worked with acrylic in my art class I always forgot to wear an apron. so I would leave class with paint spots on my clothes. I ruined so many shirts and jackets. You would think I would learn my lesson. lol
My fave pair of pants has acrylic stains on them! It's mostly blue and red. I know it's from the mural though ;) I use those to paint and I think also got some paint on my sis's jacket but she doesn't care, still wears it. I've worked on stuff where I have paint in my hair for days! No matter how much I try to get it all off it's still there!! O.O
Maybe that explains why I'm so bad at math! I love math but I don't get it! which makes me hate it. Love Hate relationship I guess. I just failed Cal and it made me cry T__T I can't think math without the science involved. I just had a dream where my prof smiled and said I tried my best and hands me a horrible test grade! I wonder if that means something.
I hate math! Because I never get it. I'm an English major, I want to be a writer. But I'm gonna take art this coming semester. I'm looking forward to that.
It's so cool you got merch signed! I only went Fri. for the concert and had to leave right away. I got there late too, at about 6pm. Plus I was broke! But gosh it was amazing and awesome!! I was towards the end of the line and when DiO was on I ended up in front right where Mikaru was!!! I touched his hand twice!! I was sooo happy to have my sister there too! It got really tight in there and I was getting pushed around so she was my bodyguard and pushed them back :P Sugar was cool too!
To be honest, it was the first con I went to. I've always wanted to go but I never got permission until now. I also saw Dir en Grey last month, my 1st concert. Of course, I always have to have my very tall 14 yr. old sister along ^__^ Also, I wasn't going to go, but my sister pushed me to do it and I don't regret it. I bet if I ever did go again for 3 days it'd be to sell stuff, that's how my parents would give me permission but I still need more practice in what I do.
This was my third con. I saw phantasmagoria and 12012 as well. I love going to these things with my sisters. My mom goes too she loves jrock almost as much as we do. lol
I tried reaaaally hard to go see 12012 and my sis loves them but nope! I make silver jewelry. I do soldering and non-soldering. I can also make custom jewelry on the spot, but I'm slow, I need to speed it up. I just recently decided to tie it to anime also. My first jewelry pieces were all just dragon themed. I also draw/paint with watercolor.
I think the fact that the schedules werent handed out really well was also a bad factor...? im not sure XD haha
