  • Ah! The HP Bookcase was finally finished! Or maybe I just missed that previously...

Don't worry about the age thing. I get it all the time, and I'm sure plenty of other people do as well. When I was 13, people said I looked 9. It's not as big of a difference as yours, but people grow a lot in those 4 years. I still get it now.

    DFTBA!

    -Gianna

  • Your Harry Potter books in the background made me smile. :)

  • that jamestown looked awesome--im going to have to add that to my list of things to do

  • I hear ya on the 13 year old thing. I've had people think I was 13 and I'm 20.

  • wow i took the same exact vacation two years ago...its such a great area to go! Loved D.C. so much that I'm looking into moving down there haha

  • I've been to Williamsburg!

  • How was Jamestown and D.C.? I went to both of those places when I was on my Student Ambassadorship program vacation. (People to People)

Okay, the whole age thing happens to me in reverse. I've had multiple people ask me where I'm going to school... As in college... and I'm an underclassmen in high school. Age confusion is a frustrating thing...

  • That kind of thing happens to me! The age for buying alcohol here is 18. I went to buy my Dad a miniature (tiny!) bottle of whisky in a whisky shop and the man asked me for ID...I was 32!!! He was so embarrassed that he didn't even look at my ID! Poor man.

My favourite game is to get the young people I work with (I'm a youthworker) to guess how old I am when they first meet me - hilarious and they love it!

  • Oh man, i got a kids menu last week! I just stared at her and finally said "Um, I'm 18..." she was super embarrassed. I told her I wanted it anyway because of the coloring! I drew a tiger :D

  • 22 to 13, that's quite a difference...the server must have been pretty embarrassed after that!

  • Haha. I'm nineteen and I get asked if would I like a kids menu all the time. Sigh.

  • is that book box custom or can I buy that somewhere? its awesome

  • monica painted the doors and all on it (WAY early shortsisters vid) :)

colonial williamsburg was a common field trip where i grew up but somehow i never made it jamestown...now i definitely want to go back to the area and trek up to the spy museum!

  • good memory! :-) Monica also made the box for me so that it would fit all seven books, so unfortunately they're not sold anywhere.

    -Chellie

  • You were 2 hours form my house and that is awesome

  • I love the spy museum! And I wish I could go to Williamsburg or Jamestown! You guys are doing so much this summer, and I am incredibly jealous.

  • Good to see you back Chellie. I like the little 'house' for your HP books.

  • Thanks, it's great to be back!

    -Chellie

  • I'm glad you guys are making videos again, you are one of my favorite channels =)

  • Aw, thank you! It's great to be back! :-)

    -Chellie

  • Nice accent - :). I want that book case.. with the books :(

  • thanks, lol. :-)

    -Chellie

  • That spy museum is awesome! They have that spy tunnel type thing at the top that you can crawl through (which I can't imagine is very clean) but still loads of fun :-)

  • I saw a bunch of kids go through that! I didn't get a chance to, but it looked really cool.

    -Chellie

  • lmaooooo

i feel your pain at age non-recognition.

    every day of my life.

i look much younger than i am,

    and to make matters worse

my sister looks much older than me.

    aruggg!!

  • haha, yeah, it's frustrating. but sometimes people think I'm older than Monica, which I think is funny :-D

    -Chellie

  • Hi Chellie!

Looks like you've had a great summer :)

I realllyy want to go to that spy museum!

And your character is awesome :P

    -Alex

  • Thanks, Alex! If you get a chance, you totally should go to the spy museum - it's really cool!

  • wow you're looking good, did you get new glasses? I swear I'm not a creeper, maybe just creepy XD

  • Thanks! I've had these for a couple years, but I ususally only wear them once a month when I change my contacts, so they don't turn up in videos very often :-)

  • hey hey! great to see you girls back! its been too long!

a spy museum sounds like a great opportunity to get into muschief.

I couldn't quite hear what they were re-enacting, though it looked cool. had people just gathered there who were walking past, or do they let people know when and where its going to happen??

    look forward to seeing more!

  • Thanks! It's great to be back!

They were re-enacting how they decided to break away from England and dissolve the laws imposed by them. They told us beforehand and the re-enactment traveled throughout the town - apparently they do it once a week! It was pretty fun to see :-)

    -Chellie

  • That spy museum sounds amazing! Oh my god, I must go.

  • you should! It's a little more expensive then other museums, but it's definitely worth it!!

    -Chellie

  • I loved visiting the Spy Museum! I really want to go back there, but the prices ... eh.

    Sweet HP collection!

  • Thanks! yeah, I know what you mean about pricy...but I'm still glad I went! It was my favorite thing I saw while there :-)

    -Chellie

  • Aw. Poor Chellie.

Look at it this way... when you're 50... you'll look 40? Sure. Lets go with it.

And I love the little door! WANT!

  • haha, thanks!

    -Chellie

  • At least it means you can get the student price long after you graduate. Not that I do that or anything...

  • hehehe, of course not! :-P

    -Chellie

  • Is that the room of requirement door?! That is awesome. SOOOOOO awesome.

  • haha, I never thought if it being the RoR door, but that's great! Monica custom made that box just for my HP books and painted it for me last year :)

    -Chellie

  • Ah, I love my Virgina... At least parts of it.

  • I live in Tennessee and my roommate is actually from Sweetwater, I didn't think anyone else knew anything about that tiny place.

  • haha, that's great! so you can fully appreciate my horrible accent :-P I've never actually been to Tennessee, so I didn't have anything to go off of.

    -Chellie

  • Well you should come visit sometime, it's surprisingly a pretty cool place. And your accent isn't actually that far off from some of the local color's mode of speech, I am glad to be accent-less however.

  • so happy ur back!1

  • thanks! It's great to be back!

    -Chellie

  • Great video! They always used to try and give me a kids menu... ah the woes of being short.

  • Thanks! I actually don't mind the kids menus if they have crayons...haha, no wonder they think I'm 12!

    -Chellie

  • yes, but they don't try and give you a kid's menu when you are there to celebrate your 20th birthday... yah that happened, I wasn't really paying attention though. kinda funny now. :D yay for crayons!

  • Great vid as always

  • Thank you! :-)

    -Chellie
