Yeah. It's level after level, but you got a LOT of freedom in what you do - do it like you want. The maps are very broad and open and if you want, you can just take the long way and go around everything with cloaking, or just go the straightest route with guns blazing. Crysis 2, unfortunately, is a lot more linear :(
