This is a really nice ride. If your in the Canmore area you should also do Spray Lake Rd. Nothing technical, just a gravel road, but the scenery is beyond description. Riding along peaks for hours.
What an amazing scenary! I would like to do that someday. I am in New Zealand and the bike trails like that are still not very common here for now. Is it better to visit there during summer or spring?
Sicilian49, late May to early Oct is the best time for mountain biking great trails everywhere, too may to pick. If you visit in early spring snow will still be melting at high levels on the mountains, fall great colours in the forest but weather is "ify"
geting to the bottom of sulphur mountain is pretty hard but otherwise the rest is really easy

It's okay if you are a DH rider your best bet is in and around the town cause there is some sick drops. and one sick kicker that i know of.
