  • I want one of these as my first car

  • LOVE the little 145

  • Do you know if Top Gear ever tested the Fiat Tipo, no matter wich version.

    Cheers from Brazil.

  • pity alfas are almost impossible to come by in the states.

  • I recently bought a 52 plate Alfa GTV, and despite the obvious mechanical wobbles I haven't regretted a moment of it! Their pedigree and their looks make this brand a winner in my eyes, simple as :D

  • The 145 QV is epic, everything I look for in a car! :D

  • anybody know what the opera piece is that plays during the Alfa history intro?

  • @actionjackson9000 It's called "Vesti la giubba".It's an aria by Ruggero Leoncavallo.

  • @nickname244 THANKS!

  • Which episode it is?

  • Once an Alfa owner always an alfa owner, simple as that..

  • Once you've owned an Alfa romeo everything else begins to look a bit Humdrum,

I've moved from Audi's to Alfa's 5 years ago and just wish i'd done it years ago, it

has put the enjoyment back into driving and the styling on my 156 metallic red

sportwagon still pleases me after 4 years of ownership, a gem.

As for rust, none anywhere, reliability well has never failed to start, and still

drives like new at 9 years and 55,000miles, the 2.0 ltr twinspark is a joy.

Recently bought a Gtv 6yrs old.

  • yeaah! i still have one, a 1.6 liter, 1994! ;)

  • there is a resemblance with the renault megane, and also with the seat hatchbacks, The thing you have to remmember this came a long time before and still looks better than ether of them

  • @metric321 ; Not sure about renault, but Seat was started by Fiat and set up in

Spain so most seat's were rebadged Fiats, new Seat's like the leon look like an

Alfa 147 because VW put an Italian in charge of design Walter de silva was head

of design at Alfa romeo before joining the VAG group. Notice how sharp the new

Golf has become and even the new Audi's have de silva style injection.

Vw Golf MK1 was designed by Italian Giorgetto Giuigaro of ItalDesign, Vw recently

    Bought ItalDesign..

  • Old legends from 70-80s...in 1994 Alfa was a part of FIAT group, infact 145/146 shares a lot of parts with TIpo and Tempra...

  • @Pergiacomo

    Which were biblical unreliable...

  • Comment removed

  • @FrightfulAccountant Really? How many did you own?

  • @Sentsusoi

    One

And I think that is enough.

Don't misunderstand me. I am a huge fan of Italian design, but a care should be reliable as well. And cheap to run...

  • @FrightfulAccountant If you cant take care of a car, that is bound to happen, whatever the make is.

  • @FrightfulAccountant ; Alfa like any other car need proper servicing to remain

reliable in later years, cut corners and it will cost more later, Alfa's in my experience

are reliable if you pay the right price for one, no such thing as a bargain, and are

just so much better looking and exclusive than the choice of the Herd..Forza Alfa

  • want to see a 94 toyota celica review please if you have one

  • The problem with it is I can't help but see a resemblance with the Renault Megane, the only thing that puts me off this car

  • I had one of these and it was the absolute dogs knob.

  • hI THERE, have you got any top gear episode on the Alfa 33 Boxer 16V (last model made)

  • i dont sorry :(

If i come across it ill upload it straight away (Y)

  • hi..I want to see that episode, too....I have alfa 33 1.5 8v...forza italia....
