Thank you for this response... I'm gay, and the Orisha saved my life. I'm a child of Oshun and I can't imagine not having her and the other Orisha in my life. The Orisha do not waste their time on people who aren't worth it, and the Orisha claim people of all races and all orientations.

It's funny how some people still say that Orisha don't love gay people when many well known Santeros/Santeras are GLBT... lol

@wytchin Yes this is very true as a gay man myself with 5 years of Agayu I know for sure sexual orientation does not matter in the eyes of the Orisha. In fact its the homosexuals who have preserved the religion worldwide especially being ostracized by society. When most other religions and traditions frown about homosexuality, Orisha welcomes with open arms with love and acceptance. May Ochun continue to bless U with wisdom!
