Im from drogheda and yes its a dump of a place.... but in the last  couple of years it has trippled in size with lots more "nice" things to look at. Some great people there too.

Drogheda is one of the biggest dumps in Ireland. I'd give it a wide berth if you are planning to visit. All it has to offer is a decimated town center, teenage mums and a shitload of crap housing!
