By that logic, Italians shouldn't call Mickey Mouse "Topolino", because he's of American origin and Miffy (the rabbit shouldn't be named "Miffy", because her original Dutch name is "Nijntje".

I've grown up knowing the character as "Mega Man", so I'll continue to call him that. I respect people's preferences when it comes to these things, but saying that a character shouldn't be called a region-specific name is wrong in itself.

You're right. I call him by both names whenever I feel like it. And besides, the reason he was called Mega Man was because Rockman was a copyrighted name on so many products back then, someone had to step in and use another name. I think it was a smart move, so that we get a lot of fun Mega-Awesome things along the years, for fun and giggles. X3

There was a RockMan amplifier in the USA do they called him megaman. I prefer megaman, because rockman sounds like guts man and hard mans long lost cousin

This was a very well-designed flash with the actual and custom sprites. It was also a nice review of the MM10 plot. Very good stuff.
