Your poem is beautiful and thought-provoking!! Such beautiful music for your wonderful video!! Being a Cancer, I have always enjoyed a special relationship and connection with the Moon, which constantly tugs at me. Many stars!!
And, thank you, Jolanda - nature'sbeatingheart - for sharing with me!!
what profound thoughts! you've really got us by our complacency!! such a wonderful concept - the smiling moon of my childhood drawing book doesn't smile anymore (sniff)... i feel terrible about it... ***** in the night sky to minxy!
That picture of the Moon in story books was also something I remembered Amit. His face really seemed more perplexed than smiling, but I decided to bring back his smile. I have no idea what it will take to bring about the change we need, there are so many people who just don't care. Peace, hugs and love my friend.
Minx, I missed your videos! I wish all the people could hear your poem. It's really beautiful and touching. We should really really start appreciating what we have as soon as possible, before we lose the best things on Earth.
I'm a night fan, I always like to stare at stars and at the Moon, when it's possible and sometimes I just wonder if the ones that come to live on Earth after us will still see the stars.
I knew my town is polluted, but I can still see the stars. But in November I went in a trip on a mountain at 1470m, I don't know how much is that in feet. But there I could truly see the stars, the way they are: thousands, not only around 20 like in my town.
Me too! I never realized till I went to Colorado in the mountains how little we see in our night sky, there were millions to see up there. It felt like I was close enough to touch heaven. Clear and bright, like the skies used to be everywhere. We do not know what we are missing, and it's a shame. I wish I could turn back time quite often. And erase the damage the Industrial age has brought us. Thank you so much Lexy, I miss you when you are away, but want you to go far, school is important.
Hi Lexy! I missed you too. I hope school is going well for you. I tried to show how silly people are to believe that their existence was more important than other animals on the planet and also not so indestructible as they might believe. We are not the first species on this planet, others have come and gone, and have done much less damage than we do everyday. Peace and love and hugs my friend.
Aren't all those stars fascinating? It really was a special moment then and I see that I'm not the only one who thinks that :)
School is over, unfortunately. The only things left are my final exams and those start on Monday. Thank you for your support!
And I really hope that oneday people's thinking will change and they will start to see the world with different eyes. This is why I like so much your video.
I wondered how we would look from an outside view, and thought we would surely bring puzzlement, bewilderment and likely amusement. I did stand outside for a while one night when the moon was brightly shining and clearly had a face that looked like he was surprized or dismayed. Peace, hugs and thank you my friend. I love moon watching.
I love you. I've always felt connected to the earth since I was young, and full of vivid imagination that she had gifted me with the gift of making storms. (yeah-I was crazy then to, lol) I know that conditions create weather now, but it was fun to imagine. Earth day should be everyday. Thank you baby. Muah!
