Mine doesn't sound that loud, I don't want to put the volume on the mixer completely up but I may need to. Is there any way to fix this besides boosting the volume and normalizing it?

Do all you have to do is put the kick on the track line. Or do you have to put something in the piano roll. I put the kick on the first track line and get no sound

@MrComposer23 Hi, you're probably in pattern mode. Switch on to Song mode (you do that via Transport panel) and you should hear the kick.
