  • I think I could sit and watch these two guys all day...

  • Love him or hate him, Jon Stewart is brilliant.

  • williams soft-balled that so hard. Stewart is so smart, why ask about silly things?

  • To be fair, everyone looks dumb when they are interviewing Jon Stewart. Except for maybe David Letterman.

  • Williams reminds me of Christoph Waltz, from Inglorious Bastards

  • Amazing.. interesting to see the man, who makes me laugh frequently (and I'm no American nor do I live there) be so serious about things. New movement? I'd dare to say it's the same movement as it always was - just with more attention to it and growing, because of the increasing gap between the rich and the poor. I don't see how this movement will cease if nothing in the favor of the 99% happens.

  • I have to agree with Jon Stewart, all of the events are similar... and keep repeating, nothings different, the goal is the same... LOL he totally questioned that other guy!

  • jon stewart is sooo sexy ;)

  • @latdero lol, he is cute.

  • Ooo, tents!

  • doesnt the interviewer know that crossfire invited Jon, screwed up and got cancelled!

  • lol it feels like jon was interviewing brian.

  • Williams is better in SNL rather than Rock Center

  • Wtf is this? Why is he talking about Halloween with him? I think Brian Williams just knows how intelligent Jon Stewart is and doesn't want to have his ass handed to him or something.

  • Brian Williams is boss

  • how about where he touched his leg before he went to commercial...awkward

  • This is embarrassing. Impossible to watch.

  • that interview sucked

  • What an arrogant, unfunny fool Williams is. To think this POS is going to last beyond a year is sheer fantasy, let alone 25 years. THEN, to top it off, he doesn't even know his own business, NEWS, at all!! Jon Stewart could debate circles around him.

  • Brian Williams is an idiot. He was saying "no protest movement in this country." Others on MSNBC have said the same nonsense...,like "no protests for 30 years". Forgetting about the HUGE Seattle WTO "trade" protests that were very loud and even violent. The big anti-Iraq war protests that went on. Then the number of Tea Party clamors that took place. Do people even have memories? Yeah, SELECTIVE memories. But Brian then says "errgh, but none like this". But that's NOT what he first said.

  • This is really awkward

  • So far I'm thinking...why does this show exist? Why have they made this? What is it for?

  • @Staticnz lol i don't know you but hey NBC should give us a show...i think it will be better than this one! lol

  • I really don't think people have watch Brian Williams in TDS. For the interviews they have, he and Stewart really cut loose and when it comes to the nitty-gritty they get actually really are mature. Its a pity that people are comparing this interview as something to be with Leno. (And I'll tell you one thing, William won't bump off Conan from NBC)

  • They're coming for you...

  • give it up Williams! You dont got it! Leno, strike one, Brian williams, strike two!

  • Change your socks you're talking stupid :l

  • Williams again proves what a flaming unbiased liberal journalist he is. Even the liberal Stewart is flabbergasted that he calls the OWS movement "new", reminding him of all the recent other protests. Williams first adjective to describe the Tea Party is to say they "disrupted" town hall meetings and he seems to get a bit giddy over OWS. But, would be expect any less of the face of NBC?

  • Richard Engel is cute.

  • What sucks about Brian Williams? He's obviously a very handsome man, and has a great personality and is a very good actor to boot. Did anyone catch him on 30 Rock or SNL? The dude fucking rocks!

  • Brian Williams SUCKS! Hang it up!!!

  • Can you upload the segment on birth tourism?

  • The comedy-interview format demands an audience to laugh at the one-liners.

  • isnt jon stewarts's brother the head of the newyork stock exchange lol

  • Awkward? You wanna see awkward, you should Google "Tom Snyder". The epitome of awkward, and HIS show was on TV for YEARS!

  • needs a studio audience or a laugh track...

  • booorrring

  • people don't want this crap...ether be serious, or funny...don't try to mix both

  • the king of insecurity Steward LMAO

  • Protesting is a basic right in a democracy. Calm your tits, Williams.

  • I'm sorry, who thought this should would succeed? Williams is a booooring interviewer.

  • it sounds like Williams is trying too hard to 'be with it/cool' vouching for the same audience that watch Stewart's show. he is no Stewart.

  • @erantio You've obviously never watched Williams' many interviews nor his many appearances on TDS. Williams is a very skilled interviewer handling many sitting and former elected officers and foreign leaders and breaking stories both at home and abroad. However, when he is with Stewart, Williams takes the opportunity for some banter and humor. I think Williams is one of the closest things to an actual journalist on television today but I enjoy his chemistry with Stewart. This was great!

  • @Padmepotter4986 haha ok, you may be right. i haven't seen much of his work but i will check it out. didn't know that he was just so close to Stewart that he didn't feel too hard to try and interview him normally.

  • @erantio - It's a balancing act. On Stewart's show Williams gets to play it loose and shows some personality. Stewart on his show, the roles change and the tone of each show is different. On Williams show he is mostly playing the same character as when he broadcasts which is more or less the straight man. Watch Williams on the Daily Show to see what I'm talking about.

  • This show is going to flop.

  • @HDvideosaregood I thought the same thing. Williams is an awkward interviewer.

  • @Original1001BG Yeah, he IS super awkward.. I think is because he wants all the attention to go to him, he wants to be the funniest guy in the room and is just not working so it gets really awkward for the person being interviewed and for the viewer.

  • @DonRMB this awkward interview style is a long running gag between stewart and williams as brian reminds us he's been on jon's show 19 times. i dont think the expectations of his future perfomance should be based on this particular interview.

  • @Original1001BG I hate to admit it but i have to agree. I like Williams and all but its so many other things to watch besides this show...Mr. Williams I hope it works; however, if it don't you have a great job at 6:30.

  • @Original1001BG Let me tell you I just saw (12/19/11) Brian Williams with Steve Martin and Williams was referring to Martin's various artistic endeavors ( music, writing ) as "screwing around " in areas other than comedy/acting. Steve Martin quickly interjected: " I take everything I do very seriously.I wouldn't call it screwing around". I am shocked at the lack of self- awareness on the part of Brian Williams. Something's wrong with him ! What a thing to say to Steve Martin !!

  • @Original1001BG Williams is flat out clumsy and rude in his new role. Almost unbelievable. Says things that are really weird for a man of his stature/standing.

  • @Original1001BG and is old fashioned. jon stewart is the benchmark that is quick and witty.
