Look at it from my point of view. I'm in the military there are over 150 religions. Each one equally important. I have to respect that and other people no matter their point of view. Like yours I absolutly respect your religion and i hope it's the right one. However those religions contradict alot of the things you believe in. How can i say your right and they are wrong. So i like to stay neutral on subjects of religion. I also don't think you'll change a gay person's mind so it seems pointless.

As a Christian minister who has been in one loving heterosexual marriage for over 46 years, it saddens me to see such brutal bias being put forward in the name of our Lord. Jesus never said an unkind word against gays, so how dare anyone do so in His name? My church, the United Church of Christ welcomes gays and lesbians and loves them as they are since 1968. None of them chose to be gay. Just ask a gay person or a doctor. Love is our call, not bias and not hate.

Just saying, I am a christian, and I struggle with homosexuality. I'm only 17, and I believe it's wrong. If you believe the bible is true, then you should be believing those verses say homosexuality is a sin. We were not "born" with this, there is no "gay gene". @jasonlawmadrid To answer your question, YES, if a person burns with sexual desire he/she should marry. See 1 Cor. 7:1-8. If he/she can do without they do better but if they have a need for sex then they should definitely marry. I would tell the spouse about the temptation of homosexuality & the spouse would agree to "help" in the fight. I think it important that the spouse should know beforehand. You can OVERCOME. Is it tough? Absolutely-but you CAN through Faith in Christ by the Holy Spirit!

Recently great strides were made in the original language, but they won't retranslate the Bible, because there is no Profit in it. Plus it would mess up the agenda. @Headswithsacks Actually, I went straight to God and asked him. I did so sincerely and followed all the rules set by both Catholics and Mormons related to good conscience of heart. I was shocked and amazed at the way he answered my prayer which was nothing short of a miracle. So yes, I can stand before him on judgement day. I am convinced that God loves and supports gays, and he never said a word against them. Misinterpreters in the 1400's did. Humans can make mistakes, but not God.
