  • inspiration

  • Can't tell you how many challenges this song got me to overcome. These people are truly fit to be in positions of power, they're intelligent and appear to have good hearts and minds. What else could you ask for. Grouch - Eligh 2012. Every Vote Counts :)

  • @thatslifeee i logged into my account just so i could thumbs up what you said. i agreee 100%

  • dopeee ass song

  • E.S.P. Strict Underground hip-hop NEW SINGLES!!!! out now 'Dimebag' check us click ESPhiphopESP and subscribe

  • its really fureally hella coo to hear something as dope as this

  • just because you like this style of hip hop doesnt mean you have to hate the radio. there are other stations that you can listen to if you dont want to hear a whack song. and to insult an artist on youtube because their songs are on the radio haha that persons a fucken idiot. and what the fuck does that have to do with the grouch and eligh or the living legends? mainstream artist have talent and earn that spot where they make money off everybody so why the fuck you hating?

  • @arjaekillz no. they don't necessarily earn that spot. most of them just sell out and decide to be a symbol for the media and advertise.. brainwashing little kids and such for big money. sex sex sex. that's all mainstream is. none of it talks about anything that's real. Then you get someone who talks about getting high and being "real" and he's all of a sudden the greatest rapper in the world because he's saying something different; but he still couldn't compare to anyone that's real.

  • @arjaekillz and it's sad.. because no one wants to hear anything that's at least somewhat logical and real. they want to dance to it and have sex... if you want that, listen to dubstep. mainstream is horrible, you can't argue against it.

  • @arjaekillz did you just say mainstream artist have talent? get the fuck outta here

  • If It dont mind it dont matter.

  • yo if anyone got elighs albums if you could reply to this and help me out by sendin his files to me, ill trade you something you dont have, like Eyedea, Afu-Ra, One Be Lo, Typical Cats, CunninLynguists, Apathy, Mr Lif, Little Brother, Last Emperor, something i cant find any Eligh, or Grouch, if you reply to this well find a way to trade music please someone, thanx

  • I Agree Grouch has got some dope tracks! I put on old Grouch tracks when I'm feeling pissed off, and I laugh at his bitter raps, and then I'm happy again.

  • @fearkeptmeweak that is exactly what I just did and now my mood is on zen status after a long, hellish morning. Consistent classics.

  • Beats are beats that'll never change Bangers are bangers that'll never change, But i'm encourged that so called mainstream rappers have increased their skills which makes hiphop better as a whole

  • @bherrity damn bro, get a life

  • MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN I HAVE BEN LOOKING FOR THIS SONG FOR SERIOUSLY 3 YEARS!!! No doubt these guys are underrated, I had to type multiple verses of the song+lyrics search on google and they somehow got the lyrics of this song confused with the living legends... only to just find out like 10 minutes ago that its these guys that spit it... shits fucking siiiiiiiiiick. Now I gotta check out the other beats the holmies have dropped. Are these doods white? I always thought for sure they were black

  • Capitalism is the same as Communism and Fascism...They all work for one thing, Profit.

  • How old is this song? This is the first legends (grouch and eligh) song I ever remember hearing...my older brother played this TAPE in his boombox in his car because it was such a beater he didnt even have a stero system...trying to figure out how lucky i am for getting introduced to this great music so long ago

RIP Jesse - the gift of hip-hop is the best gift anyone has ever given me

  • this shit bangs hard ! str8 soulfood

  • Put them L's up!!!!!!!!!!

  • yes

  • best song everrrrrrr

  • I agree with you. So talented. On the business tip though, I think the reason why cats like Grouch aren't marketable is because people generally lack good taste. I'm confused too.

  • excellent, gives such good vibes...

  • who is this gay ass bitch disliking this vid?

  • REAL RAP AINT DEAD (^^,)

  • GREETINGS FROM PSEUDO!!!!

  • good lyrics..

  • They pride themselves with the fact that they develop everything independently. Legendary music. Living Legends is where it all began.

  • this goes with what im going threw right now... fuck all grouch & eligh are underground legends i feel every word relate to it.

  • some of the best MC's in the underground seen

  • Mind over matter is what matters

  • nice tune !!!!

  • freshest fuckin song ive heard

  • BUMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

  • SPREAD THE SONG~!

  • If all their songs had no beats I would still listen.

  • Luckyiam is the shit.

  • i play this song when i lift weights. really works for me.

  • yah no doubt..these guys do have a ton of talent..but life isnt unfair to them..they just make music because they love doing it..they are in it for the fans and not the money unlike every other dumbass you hear on the radio a thousand times a day making there millions off it

  • @xxxbushman34xxx Too me and I'm sure mainly everyone on here can agree that they make music too change and make impacts on peoples lives. Living Legends and Zion I are the 2 most influential groups I've ever heard. Their music changed my life, and I'm sure everyone elses whos listened to their music. That's why I try and spread their music too other people hoping it'll make an impact on their lives like it has on mine.

  • completely agree....i do the same shit too.

  • GOD I can't believe how underrated they are! They are so freaking fucking fucking fucking amazingly brilliant. Life's so unfair. These guys are so damn talented. They are 100000000000000000x better than 50 cent or lil wayne or any of those clowns.

  • I agree.

  • Seriously, Grouch is EASILY the most inspirational artist I've ever heard. Not only that, but his flow actually outdoes some of his beats, unlike artists of now a days that just used tracks that are just recycled off of others and have more effort put into them than the lyrics which are the soul of the music.

Life is unfair, I guess the labels don't think Grouch or Eligh or anyone else who's actually good is "marketable" enough to profit off of. Fucking capitalism, the worst proponent for greed

  • @M3PanoS The 'labels' have offered The Grouch and the rest of the LL crew contracts, but they turned them down. They want to stay true to their fans, and stay independent/underground.

  • @M3PanoS Its not that they CANT get a record deal, its that they wont. It all started out with Living Legends, these dudes pride themselves on being underground.

  • @M3PanoS so damn right !!!

  • @M3PanoS ... .they choose not to be on a lable.. LEGENDARY MUSIC.. keep it underground...

  • @phuckinphilthy yea i realized that after someone else told me the same thing, thanks for the heads up tho

  • @phuckinphilthy pretty much these kats aint platinum bound.... they rocking that happenin sound!

  • @M3PanoS The Legends are one of the most successful underground groups ever, there is plenty there to market. I think its more that they refuse to sign to a major label and have their music raped to fit what the label thinks music should sound like.

  • @Dak360rt yea because in order for the labels to make them 'marketable' they would have to change their music, which is why, i think, they don't sign. so in that sense, the stuff they make isn't 'marketable' to the masses, although they as a hip hop group have the potential to be...but then again anyone does, look at lil wayne and all the pop stars lol

  • @M3PanoS Nah, they know about this underground ish. Indie-hip-hoppers just won't sell their soul and join the club. You don't make records for big labels without joining the club man. Research the music industry, it's more of a fraternity, that's why big name cats never really "fall off." Even if they've burnt themselves out, they still keep putting shit out, and keep marketing hard.

    Ex: Relapse.

  • @slapbass18 Yea, but when they sell their souls to join into their gay little fraternity, they also invariably will change their music to appeal to them.

What kinda research are you talking about?...because I haven't found anything talking about how everyone at the top of the music industry basically selling their souls to join the club although there are conspiracies about it. You know of any websites or have any links that offer actual proof of these homos?

  • @M3PanoS Well, what would you consider proof? Just because something has the word "conspiracy" attached to it doesn't mean that it's completely false...or did Oswald kill Kennedy all by himself? Look into it yourself if you don't believe, I'm not wasting my time trying to change your opinion. Why do you think everything on TV and radio is garbage??? do you really think that artists like Weezy are really the "best" these companies can find? Why don't you start with looking into Bob Dylan..

  • @M3PanoS However on the subject of G&E being AWESOME, and some of the realest in the biz, I have to agree with you.

  • @M3PanoS Also, why don't you dig through your LL CD's and listen to what THEY say on why they aren't signed....

"Don't deal with the devil in that pale moon light, I make it realer I'm a rebel in that high noon fight"

  • @slapbass18 No, I'm not disagreeing with you about top artists being scumbags that sell their souls to record companies for a tiny portion of the profits. All I'm saying is that I wish there was a way to blatantly expose these douchebags to the public, but then again, it's the masses that are the problem, since they willingly accept the crap they rap and support them. But the extreme stupidity of the majority of the population nowadays is another issue for another day lol

    Youtube Idiocracy

  • i agree with shit you said but big names do fall off. Maybe not their product but their financial backing. Look at Ras Kass, still spitting heat and he isnt getting shit from the game.

  • @M3PanoS completely agree man..Grouch is by far my favorite lyricist..the way i see it is the dumb asses that dont appreciate this music dont deserve it..they can have they're stupid shit and we know the dope shit

  • @M3PanoS Maybe Grouch and Eligh know the level where they rap at and don't need money or other material objects for pleasure. Obviously they don't want or need respect from others. They rap for the spirit of great, which they are. We are lucky for them gracing their spirit of word upon us. They are like water, they melt in the form that we allow them to impose on our beings. We should be lucky for their grace. And we should promote their greatness with love and respect.

  • @M3PanoS Is any other form of government better? Capitalism isn't perfect but compared to communism or fascism..?

  • @RetardTE Its not that they CANT get a record deal, its that they wont. It all started out with Living Legends, these dudes pride themselves on being underground.

  • @RetardTE amen to dat i hate mainstream music

  • @RetardTE Carter 3 does suck but Wayne is a phenomenal rapper, whether you like his style or not (50 cent is awful however, you are right about that). G&E are underrated and not "marketable" cuz they can't spit shit on Wayne or JayZ or TechN9ne or Snoop or Red&Meth or, well do some research and learn what "rapping" is cuz these guys suck at it. good themes to their lyrics but how you say it is just as important than what you say, if not more so.

  • @bherrity The lyrics on most of these "artists" tracks are utter shit. It has no message and the only way they make it marketable is because of the good beats and catchy hooks. You can call that good rapping, I call it sucking in all the idiots who say "I don't care what they say, as long as it sounds good.". The other people that buy these albums are people who feel better about themselves when listening to tracks about alot of money and bitches. It's simple psychology. So yea, these rap better

  • Comment removed

  • @bherrity I never said anything about JayZ and Red and Meth specifically. I respect Red and Meth, they made good music. They're selling a bit out nowadays but their punchlines are still funny in the songs. JayZ is talented, but the fact that anyone would make stupid mainstream shit just pisses me off. He has alot of deep complex songs, but it just bothers me what a sellout he can be. The fact that you do not get this kind of rap is beyond me, Eligh is like a poet on the beat. Multiple meanings.

  • @bherrity yo man once they go mainstream they cant rap about what they want anymore they are told what to do they no longer own themselves its like joining the military you sold your soul to the devil! if u ever listened to immortal technique then youd know what we are talkin about! hip hop is a lifestyle rap is just music! peace!

  • @slick5hung totally agree, i barely listen to any mainstream rap. jay-z and wiz khalifa are the only good mainstream rappers out there right now. wayne fell off so hard it's sad.

  • @slick5hung totally agree, i barely listen to any mainstream rap. jay-z and wiz khalifa are the only good mainstream rappers out there right now. wayne fell off so hard it's hard to believe that fool used to be good.

  • @bherrity NAS

  • @bherrity lol what a lame, fuck mainstream period; you're just another weak minded zombie who does everything that the media tells you.

  • @2glocksmcgraw Mainstream or underground is a marketing term. If you like music do to the marketting your a zombie, I will def. admit i love underground music but lupes THE COOL and EVERY BEATLES ALBUM are mainstream music. music makes music good, not whos behind it. Just a thought not trying to sound all lectury and self rightious and shit.

  • @bherrity wow, and the other guys name is Retard...
