I've got to thank Chad for including the bit about how to free the rail mount disc from the helmet mount it's packed in. Neither the website nor the instructions filled in that gap.

@popshuvitskater I use mine for quad riding, I like the the right side better, I think because I am right handed and my right eye is 20/20 but my left eye is not so I tend to favor my right side on everything, I shot a few from my left side and it just didnt look natural to me. But I am sure everyone is different, so trial and error is your best bet

With HD you will get a better picture but you only run at 30fps. Standard def (SD) runs at 60 fps so action shots will be more fluid.

I had been going 35 mph, and my front tire (Mountain Bike) got caught. I face-planted instantly. The adhesive strip tore off (The foam not actual glue) and it kept on recording! The next time I picked it up I did a test run.... It worked like new! I highly recommend these cameras.

This camera is $259.95 on amazon right now. The GoPro HD is on amazon for $250.00 why would i buy this camera when the gopro comes with alot more stuff and looks better then this camera? Also if this camera gets knocked off then its done. At least the gopro comes in case that can go under water and is shock proof. @pred123424 @pred123424 The Contour has better image quality and doesn't look as hideous. I also don't like how much the GoPro distorts the image with it's view angle. But the GoPro comes with a waterproof case (need to buy the Contours), but the Contour is also very durable. The community for Contour is also robust. Plus, the mounting systems for the Contour blows the GoPro out of the water.

it has a USB cable that hooks into ur computer and that charges it. I bought mine off eBay, came with an extra battery, a wall charger,an 8 GB card on top of the 2 GB card that came with it. If u live in the U.S. i'll sell u mine?

Unboxing is common sense. I checked this camera yesterday but not satisfied with the whole package coz it has a limited mounting option. It is just a Helmet camera. Suction is too heavy unlike the GoPro which is lighter. I compared with my GoPro Motorsport Hero Wide and I better like the quality of Hero.

Just plug it in with the usb cable included, then go to the root on win explorer , u´ll see a htm file click on in and download the software.

Just a hint. Take the velcro patch off the helmet mount and put it on the goggle mount if thats what you will be using (like me). The goggle mount doesn't come with velcro and its loose as hell without it.

the new 1080p version is better. It can do a full 1920x1080 picture. From the videos I have seen of the Hero the sound sounds like you are in a box the whole time.

man, that adhesive and velcro mount doesn't look very secure. I read on another video a skydiver lost his camera during a hard opening. Looks like the goggle mount is the most secure... as long as you don't lose your goggles! ;-)

Only USB charging, which is great if you take your laptop or PC to the top of a Mountain or to the Woods.
