My dream is to go to New Zealand in a few years, I've never been past europe and kiwi's are simply wonderful as my experience goes so far;) I really hope that these cuties will survive, and that I'll maybe be able to spot one while staying on the island.

@SwinubLoveShaymin their endangered so no you can't adopt them, and if you could yes they would survive in texas it's just that they don't have good defense against predators.

@Psymonised thks for answered, I did some research after watching this video, I heard they used to have a program called "adopt a kiwi", where you can donate money and adopt a kiwi for 1 year, but that program is not running anymore, so sad. :(

The NZ announcer calls it a "kiwi". The America/Asian announcer (and video title), calls it a "kiwi-bird". There is NO SUCH THING as a "kiwi-bird". NZ has never called or named them that, they're just "kiwis". It sound as dumb to us as saying a "seagull-bird" or "sparrow-bird" or "eagle-bird" or "blackbird-bird". It's a kiwi!

@MsLosa23 Not really, its more half. Albinos always have the distinctive red eyes a "white" animal is more of a half albino, white in color but with black eyes.
