The reason why Gravel was not invited is because he did not fill out the question ire they had provided. I don't believe it's the AFL-CIO's doing, it's just that there were certain requirements and Mike Gravel did not fill them out. Thats the campaign's problem which really sucks. I called to find out why he wasn't invited, and thats what they told me unless they are lying.
