  • why would you shoot chickenwinged anyway ? is it somehow usefull because personally it makes you look like an inexpirienced child.

  • @MCkillerG050 I see no use in "chickenwinging." We've gotten hits at 300 yards standing with a good CQB stance. Good structure is a good part of precision work. A lot of tension is created in the body with the classic chickenwing bladed standing precision stance. That isn't overly conducive to good movement.

I agree on the comment, you normally see people "winging it" that have not had any real training. This vid made in response to a "this is the only correct way to shoot" vid.

  • good job- R

  • @mosbysmen Thanks bro!

  • If you have problems with "chicken winging" play a good few rounds of paintball and you will quickly learn to tuck those elbows in.

  • good training video. thanks for the tips...

  • did ur dad never tell u 2 NEVER point a gun at a person

  • @mrfossy919 At 1:57 "first and foremost we are being really safe today. This is a RUBBER AK, see the barrel bends...." Perhaps you should LISTEN instead of putting stupid comments up without thinking. Once you get off the couch and go out and get some actual training, you'll realize the need to "point a gun at a person" in force on force training, etc. Again, what was used was A FAKE GUN and I made that ABUNDANTLY CLEAR. Get off the couch and train....

  • you forgot to talk about the qcb lean a tactical must why expose the body just lean in let your weapon be your sheild - great vids anyway ive always liked your stuff

  • I just dont plan on being in any urban setting that would force me to throw down in CQB when SHTF...but thats just me.

  • @jaydaddymc True true. However last I checked their are all sorts of buildings, corners, pump houses, hen houses, sheds, etc. in the country also. These same principles could apply searching around a large tree or rock also.... :)

  • @SurvivalReport It is definitely applicable and will be used. Im just saying Im not goin near the city. I have seen what kind of mess urban environments can become and how fast they become them. even with this maneuver in an urban setting, Im not going in. I was a Corpsman in the USCG during Katrina. Seen it. When SHTF, Im in the hills and not coming out.

  • @jaydaddymc Can I get an amen? I totally agree. The odd thing is that some folks seem to think that cities will be a GOOD place to be if something happens!!! LOL More people = more potential for problems, more potential for biological contamination, rioting, nuclear targets, social unrest, etc.

  • @SurvivalReport AMEN! :)

  • I have to tell you this is exactly why I put a pistol grip on my ar. With the stock grip it forced me to put my elbow out because it sat at too much of an angle. You can look at my vid too see what I am talking about. I'm not trying to sell my vid so I don't care if you do or don't :)

Thanx for confirming I am not the only one that felt like an idiot with my elbow sticking out. Thax for the vid...

  • Yes of course you can shoot THROUGH inner walls in most modern buildings, everyone realizes that. You have to realize you might be the one moving through the house and not just the person WAITING. What if your not sure if your CHILD or WIFE is on the other side of that partition wall? Just randomly blowing a hole through the wall could cause you to hit the WRONG PERSON.

The point we were making in the video is that with the "chicken wing" out, they see YOU before you see them. :)

  • 6:30 would have been blown away by my 357 magnum with hydra shok rounds. That arm would have been ripped to shreds to hell. Good educational video. We need more of these.

  • @Physhi Yep. People don't realize why they need to drop the old chicken wing until they do some training like this and really SEE -or feel it with simmunitions, airsoft, etc. it.

    Thanks for watching.

  • Good stuff. Tactical topics like this still need to be covered on youtube. Thanks for the information.

  • This is a great video. A great way to keep make someone break that habit is to use a paintball gun. Every time they come around a corner and you see that elbow and arm you pop them. Having a bruised elbow for a week will make the lesson hit home.

  • great vid.

post more public videos! these are great!

  • @Diatonic135 Their are over 40 videos I've done on this channel and another couple I've done with the PAW Productions crew on the Delta69Alpha channel. The website has more videos like this and that's where the bulk of new videos of this type will be placed. They are still free, you just have to go to the site to see them. It's not hard to figure out why someone would do it this way ;)

  • You can hold the rifle anyway you want as long as you PIE the corner.

  • @Freedomfighters1776 Stick your elbow up like that and slice the pie, have someone on the other side of the corner watching and the first thing they will see is elbow holding in that manner. That's exactly what we did in the couple of demonstrations on the video here.

  • Great info!

  • cool demo. Makes me want to go out and buy a rifle.

  • CQB is the only stance my friend uses with his M4.

  • That was a really great demonstration. Thanks

  • @enjoythewildUSA Thanks and thanks for watching.

  • Good video, but it made me realize that I have always shot from a CQB stance which I never would have even thought about before. Maybe it was just something built in from all those childhood bb gun fights, or the later paintball. Now you've got me trying to remember what was learned in basic lol.

  • @psynthpriest Thanks for watching.

  • yeah pretty much any rifle class I have taken, has said not to stick your "wing" out. Good video.

  • @Iridium242 Most of the ones I've attended have also. I don't think it used to be covered in BRM in the military though and I have to assume the person with the "this is the only CORRECT way to shoot a rifle" video was probably older military wherein they did little if any CQB type work.

The Olympic style standing position he was advocating isn't bad for distance work, but out to rifle distances most of us can REALISTICALLY shoot standing at, you can do the same with a CQB stance. Thanks

  • good info.

  • Good Job Bro!
