I'm proud to be part of this event as a UPSer , and commend Niall for a wonderful job he has done these past five yrs organizing this great event. It is a pleasure and I'm thankful you took the time to show what we do on our part as an organization and fellow UPSers for the NYC Marathon.
I work for UPS and have been in charge of organizing this convoy from Staten Island to Central Park for the New York City Road Runners for the past 5 years. I am very pleased this video has been uploaded as we have been doing this for 14 years and until now there was no video to show this event. In fact, what we are transporting are the bags the runners gave us in Staten Island and we are on our way to the finish line so the runners can reclaim their needed warm clothes and other items.
@2010NKelleher Thanks for responding! I've been curious the past few years about this as it's always so fun seeing this motorcade come by my place. That's interesting, I hadn't thought about personal items needing to be moved but now it makes sense!
Very good video

45k+ medals to be semi exact. That was amazing weather for the event. I definitely won't miss the race next year. Awesome video BTW.
