I think this is great advice but I was wondering have you heard about doing what you recommended mixed with some sort of glucosamine mix/drink for joints and drinking or mixing in extra virgin coconut oil cold pressed with it? Someone recommended it to me and I thought Id ask what your thoughts are on it?
thank you from Germany. I have had Crohn Disease for ten years now, but since 5 Days, since I drink these green smoothies, i feel completely healthy! And I dont take any medicine...I wish i knew this drink a few years ago, cause these years with Crohn were really horrible.
Funny you say about wheat- I had wholewheat pasta today and my IBS flared up, which hasn't really happened when i've been having buckwheat noodles...thanks for the info, shall try deleting it out!
Great video! My only point of contention is regarding the use of vinegar. This can exacerbate problems with candida overgrowth, causing more problems than it helps. Yes, even *natural* apple cider vinegar.
Thank you this has been incredibly helpful as I was scared that pumpkin seeds look like not breaking down but feels fine and i love pumpkin seeds but am VERY concerned if it means I'm not absorbing the nutrients. Today I made first nut pate, with walnuts and sunflower seeds and no problems (fingers crossed). I hope I'm ok. :( I will try the apple cider vinegar, thank you! and stick to your fabulous smoothie recipes.
Does beer irritate bowels? I have some severe chronic nausea and liquid excrement for about 2 years. I have been using cannabis to control it, but I would like to stop breaking the law as I have a future. Thanks for this video.
would you puh-leaz share some easy and inexpensive fermented food recipes like how to make kimchi or ferment vegetables/fruit (in addition to your great coconut water keifer video) without it growing mold and stuff. They are so pricey at the health food store--a small jar of raw kimchi costs seven dollars and is only enough for three servings at most. This is my three square meals a day and it's gone! I feel great when eating this with my meals.
he has been suffering from IBS for aprox. 5 yrs now. Everything he eats won't stay in his system because of this problem. Like I said, he has alot of stress in his job and it makes it even WORSE!!! Do you have ANY ideas? I try to help as much as I can. he has done colonoscopy twice and everything seems "fine". thank you for your time have a great week!
and, I am not sure if he is eating the wrong things. he LOOVES salad, baked potatoes, and fish. But I make some steaks too because he loves it... and chocolate cake, chocolate chip cookies. I am sure we are doing wrong, but he won't listen to me. I feel so bad when he wakes up, EVERYDAY , with cramps.
@julianajuliana If he wants to get better he will have to change his diet and incorporate meditation or stress relieving physical and mental exercises. It's what I'm doing now and my condition is much harder to control (UC).
The diet answer is right in front of you in this video and yet he won't hear it. There's your problem right there. He either doesn't think it would work (he's wrong) or he cannot let go of the foods he's loved his whole life.
Hi there!!! I wrote a long message to you, but I don't see it anywhere, so, I am going to try again =) . My husband has IBS and I don't know what to do. It seems like everybody talks about "constipation" but he doesn't have it, he DOES go to the bathroom alot, but it ends up being just like a diarrhea if you know what I mean =/ . Sometimes, it happens like, 2 - 5 times a day, and EVERY MORNING he suffers from cramps. I cook every day and...
hi there! thank's for the tips, you are so sweet! My husband has IBS but he doesn't have constipation... he goes to the bathroom sometimes 2 - 5 times a day, and it is just like a diahrrea if you know what I mean, he is very stressed, (he has had some work problems, it gets even worse,,) I feel so bad i don't know what to do. Everything he eats, then, won't stay in his body, and he ends up losing more weight...
Isn't a yam the same as a sweet potato. I learned the hard way that sweet potatoes rate higher on the gas scale than beans. I'd avoid sweet potatoes unless you own a blimp business and need the extra air...;-)
I have such a hard time here too.. already became a vegan and 90% raw but still bloating after even just eating bananas mashed ! What can this be? Thanks for this video :D
I've been eating raw for a few weeks and I'm not too happy with the results as I have painful moments each time I eat when my stomach distends. I've tried drinking raw apple cider vinegar before each meal and only eating fruits until lunch. I feel I'm setting myself up for disaster by keeping all the toxins within me. Anybody has gone through this or would know if incorporating cooked food would add more problems or alleviate my constipation, gas, and bloat?
I break down all my food so it's either pureed, juiced or in a smoothie. I have a very regular and healthy bowel schedule. Death begins in the colon. GI care is SO important and crucial - this is my top area of focus and interest. Green juices bath the cells! Yes! More green juice and green smoothies. Thank you for emphasizing the importance of mastication. I have read to chew atleast 30 times before swallowing. I chew my juices and smoothies, good idea for us to do this. Love your smile dear!
Always love to see your big smile when these videos start! Ps. Good to also emphasize the importance of the fact that we should be defecating as often as we are eating. Too many people are irregular, backed up and storing toxic waste material in their bodies which is just going to ferment and reabsorb back into the bloodstream causing toxicity and illness. A healthy and happy colon is a clean one my friends!
thanks for this because i have some issues with bowels and i need to just simplify things also i just started adding cayenne pepper that i dont know how it is affecting my body.
I would keep off spiced up things like cayenne pepper. Natasha has some very good tips. Keep it simple and plain.
Greens help alkalise the body and subsequently help improve stomach acid due to a better stomach lining. The trouble is, greens can be difficult to digest initially, so go for green smoothies and soups.
Alkalise, alkalise and alkalise using greens and keep off grains and meats, then your digestion and bowels will massively improve.
Spice is going to irritate the system, often resulting in the runs and IBS. It takes an IRON GUT to be able to handle spices without GI problems - upper or lower.
I think this is great advice but I was wondering have you heard about doing what you recommended mixed with some sort of glucosamine mix/drink for joints and drinking or mixing in extra virgin coconut oil cold pressed with it? Grains like "millet" have very little fiber. Some of the others seem the same. I'm confused. Won't these cause constipation?

Love your vids but when you say you had a "wheat allergy" do you mean celiac or "food intolerance"?
Because when I hear "allergy" - I think of choking/rashes/anaphalxis type reactions - and not intestinal bleeding.
Anyway, doesnt matter - good tips in your vid!
