If you haven't used it before, and the tank is pretty sound, you can use Evaporust to remove every trace of rust from the tank. It doesn't hurt rubber, plastic, or paint and is water based. I've used it on tanks and plenty of other metal parts! Your videos are very informative by the way!

I have never seen crud like that in a card before........ ive seen complete corrosion but not all that dirt.
