They don't use bitumen in North Korea. They only use bad quality concrete to seal the roads. They look good but they are extremely bumpy. Apart from military or UN vehicles there are hardly any cars at all.
And laugh as the North Korean authorities fail to catch you because their cars and trucks are either too old or too poorly-made to attain the speeds the R8 can. :)
That traffic jam would drive me nuts....

Thats the motorway between Pyongyang and Nampo (at the West Coast of North Korea).
The Motorway from Pyongyang to Kaesong and there border with South Korea is "normal sized".
There is also a 4-lane highway between Nampo and Pyongang.
The people are hungry, but it already has enough roads for the day where they all have a third car ..
