@christine2624 No. I'm not. I love comedy. Louis CK is great, and I could go on about others. I also write my own. Just for an idea of what I mean, when my computer died I wrote in notebooks. And filled a bunch of them over a period of 9 months. 5 fat ones, and 4 of those slimmer taller ones. I really don't wish the guy any actual harm, but I was serious.

@christine2624 No. I'm not. I love comedy. Louis CK is great, and I could go on about others. I also write my own. Just for an idea of what I mean, when my computer died I wrote in notebooks. And filled a bunch of them over a period of 9 months. 5 fat ones, and 4 of those slimmer taller ones. I really don't wish the guy any actual harm, but I was serious.
If say Louis CK is on one end of a spectrum Dane Cook is the other, he's there with Larry The Cable Guy and all sorts of other garbage.

I may never be as good as LouisCK, But most people consider me pretty funny. And I've been told more than anything "you should be a comedian" ,I've only written jokes and made my friends and GF laugh casually. But I'm writing a cartoon series now, and now that I'm almost 30 and I've only been writing for a year I'm going to actually go preform at clubs. I may not be stage ready, but I know my content is far better than Dane Cook's/ GF will record and I'll upload it. I'm no coward.

@coolsayain3 Thanks. Seems to the the trend atm. I know I'm not the only one turned off by Dane's comedy. And whatever, people can like whatever they want/ I don't like Dane Cook. And I think while comedy is an art form many people feel as I feel about his content/style. Again, I'm no Mr.bigshot, far from it. But what would be worse would be to be the Styrofoam cup of your art form. Widely accepted, but really nothing special.

@christine2624 By tall I mean those small tall ones, that flip open vertically. And the other ones are those fat little book like ones. But ya, I had a really shitty job at the time, and my internet was down. So I had all the time in the world. Coolest thing is to write at work. If the idea is good enough, I'll even go to the bathroom just to write it out. I'm not selling out my own ideas for 9$ an hour. Fuck that. ^_^
