ok all i know about this is limewire so im not sure of other programs like this, but limewire there is a way to look into the settings of which folder you have the things you download go to. so if you have the folder set to a folder called "my documents" then whenever u download a song or anything else it goes to that folder. its better to make a new folder specificly for limewire downloads and use that. ill explain more in the next comment because im out of space.

its better to use a new folder for limewire because if you're using a folder called "my documents" which im pretty sure is the folder its already set to when you download limewire, then everything in that folder that you may have in there such as personal stuff that you dont want others to have they can download. so you should make a new folder "limewire downloads" and go to lmwire settings, download location and put it as that. now the only things people can dload from u is stuff in that folder

if its got a red circle than that means youve stopped the downloading process and sometimes when youve turned your computer off while a files downloading the next time you go on the arrows red, i just press play alot to fix it or a third reason could be is the bittorrent is just not workin properly

Bear in mind to use AV program, I choose ESET NOD32. As for Firewall i use XPSP2 default firewall and of course you have to unblock eMule as you do with µTorrent for an example.

checkout mediainfo dll for extended media files information. Remove all servers then visit peerates for checked servers as in the snapshots and follow my config snapshots.
