@0321DGP A little over $1000.00 after shipping & handling and I did the installation myself which took about 1-1.5 hrs and maybe another 1/2 hr of tweeking (changing the exhaust hangers so the tips sit closer to the body )

Dealer told me "the Z71 doesn't come with the 20" rims" I went with the 20s because the Z71 is the off-road suspension and i don't do much offroad.... It came with the Z85 trailoring/handling suspension

dont worry about is man.....All a z71 is, is stickers on the rear of the bed side, skid plates, and different shocks.

Actually.. Of those three things you mentioned... I had the dealer put in the skid plates... so.. I could do without the sticker and the shocks aren't a problem in case I put a lift on this truck anyways..

z71 sticker is still cool though. i would have had them put the sticker on too haha.

That wouldn't work on my truck since i have the Z85 suspension... i could get a Z85 sticker... actually i was thinking about having one made up in reflective black so you could only see it when you shine a light on it...

Well if you've got skid plates then isnt the only real difference the shocks? I just think the z71stickers look great, better then just regular 4x4. Besides, if the only difference is the shocks, then why not have the 71 sticker.

because having a z85 (towing/handling) suspension with a Z71 sticker just seems kind of lame... I refuse to be like those wrx guys that put STi badges all over their base model wrx...

I have the 09 ext. LT Z71-off road package. without the Z71 appearance pckg. It also has the Z85 tow/haul rear suspension. I like the ride better than the Z60. You can get a Z85 sticker...just not in reflective black.

That's impossible... the Z71 offroad package is basically the suspension and the skid plate... it isn't a z71 if you have the z85 suspension... It is basically the same as my truck... I know I can get the Z85 sticker but I was thinking of having one replicated/custom made with reflective black...

Yep, your right. My bad. It's a Z82 not the Z85.

If I did my math right:

Z71 + Z82 = Z85?

Yea i just have the z85 because i don't have the external transmission oil cooler... i don't think.. it seems I have a Silverado bastard child as I have the z85 suspension, z71 skid plates, and of the z82 the 2" receiver lol

I can replicate almost anything. (i'm a designer) It's finding a printer that has that type of material. I'm going to work on that today. I like the idea of the black on black. or in my case black on granite black.

If you like the black on black decal you should check out my other video with my blue lights... on there you see the reflective BLACK vinyl decal i had made for the hood of my car... a 1/2" pin strip on the side and "VORTEC" in the vortec font (just like on the engine cover)
