  • This isn't as complicated as I first thought. I was looking for systems that aren't there.

    LOL!

  • The song I'm singing is the rhythm to the composition 'Constellation' (written by Charlie Parker) and the rhythm is LSLLSS (where L = long and S = short). Marcus Gilmore is on drums (a seriously killin' drummer). We are explaining playing a version of where the rhythmic weights of the song are 'shifted' to harmonize with the rhythm of a composition of mine called '9 to 5'. The point is not the Time Spans (6 pulses or 15 sub-pulses). The focus should be on the rhythmic melodies that are played.

It's a pleasure to hear from you Mr Coleman. I'm glad I captured moments from the evening. I keep coming back to these clips. Great stuff. Many thanks.

  • 12-12-123-12-123-123 :D

  • I think it begin with 123

I'm listening only the guide with the hands

    123-12-123-123-12-12 this is the loop

    A paradiddle I think^^

Melody and downbeats meet on the 6 and 11

  • What did he smoked?

  • Whatever it was, I think it was in 15/8

  • gee-gee-gee-ge-ge-go-ge-go-gee!
