I've only seen one Lulu with the orignial titles, however, I saw a complete B&W Lulu star spin in a UM&M print of "Loose in A Caboose". It was done in a similar method that AAP did with their logos on the pre-1948 Looney Tunes.

This was filmed in Technicolor; Polacalor was already disabled by this point.
BTW, the ending music isn't original, but you already know that.
