@joyfulvulture It´s true...Anand is a genius. And a WORLD CHAMPION..whether you like it or not. So STFU and go back your little, dark and miserable room you fat ass.
idiot lol, i'm not saying he's not a genius, i'm saying thinking he beats today's computers and chess programs, like the poster of this video does, is very ignorant.
try using that pee sized brain before jumping to conclusions.
He did not reverse move. He was setting up the position of which they were talking of. That is not sooo difficult for a strong player. chessguy and wiseone are right. But hey, the guys liked it :-D
Anand is brilliant not because he can remember and replay back.. almost any semi pro can do that.. its variotions of understanding.. his ablity to think of the absent squares more the present squares..
Remembering the critical position does not shock me too much, for anyone above 2300 FIDE it's harder to actually forget the game which was just finished. But Anand is one of the biggest geniuses the world of chess has ever seen, that's for sure - he does everything with such incredible ease! And such a nice person, as well....
That is awesome!

Lol person who posted this video? Do you play chess?
Anand is much much much more talented than a simple trick like this. Everyone claps but this is nothing.
Even I can set up previous positions from a game like he did -- even from a game I played last week -- I'm not even a master -- this is easy.

I think Anand's biggger talent is being so humble and calm...you'd never know he's WCC if you talked to him

Lol people clapping... remembering a position is nothing for these guys. If it's a critical position even I would remember it.

Anand is a phenomenon. A great chess player, but above that a wonderful human being. One of the finest guys i have ever met in my life.
