@nextstepbackwards The way I do it is the floor tom + the next tom above it 3 times. Then double hit 3 times from highest to 3rd highest tom you have. (So, 3 deep hits, then basically 6 more hits, 2 times quickly on the 3 high toms.) Then right after that its a quick snare + china. Thats how I do it and it sounds fine.

I watched a lot of your video's and I love the playing but the equalization on the tom mics seems to lack some body to them. It sounds like a bunch of stick slaps. Maybe that's what you were going for because its not a bad sound, but they don't sound a whole lot like toms. Just my opinion! Keep rocking!
