Cocteau Twins - Feet-Like Fins (Otherness Version)

This has certainly an 'otherness' feel about it. I read about a time

around the Milk and Kisses period that they were working on a

project about ghosts. At first I thought it meant Otherness but now

I believe it must be that missing half finished album people talk about.

I remember sitting in my room in 96 or 97, listening to this album at 6 in the morning after going to a club or party, feeling the sun come up as I drifted away, creating myriad memories of my youth. Takes me right back.

done it a few times, just using a digital

camera, and movie maker... I always start

with the music first,then build up the video

to go in-time with the beat...

You've captured the cyclical nature/feel of this song, shum. I felt almost like I was listening to it underwater - hearing the friendly heartbeat of some friendly sea creature, perhaps the one with the feet-like fins.

Well, given my meds, & my love of long, hot baths, konking out in the tub is all too likely! So I've lately been taking showers, to be safe. Even still, the doorbell always rings, I emerge, shampoo in my eyes, treading water everywhere, semi-towel off, put on my robe, stub a toe or 2 (on my fin-like feet), cats looking on curiously, & then get to the main door of my apartment building, only to find my drunkard neighbor has locked herself out again, or a Jehovah's Witness trying to save my soul!
