I'm beginning to think the reason "Water Gun" is called "Flame" is that the names of all the moves in the game (each of which has an ID #) have been shifted over by one or two in the big list that stores their data. That'd mean that some of them would be right (the ones that aren't nonsense), but they've all been shifted.

@DeliciousCinnamon I think this may actually be a translation from Chinese, not Vietnamese... for example, SHAOTANZHITEN! can be split into shao, tan, zhi, and ten, all real chinese pronunciations... and yedong can be split into ye and dong, which both make sense. Just a guess.
