@elenarobert Hahahaa... it's actually funny you say that, because not too long after I made this video I had to replace the door latch on the drivers side.
That is one mean sounding Esprit! I'm a member of the Delorean Club and the Delorean shares soo many styling characteristics with the Esprit. They share the same frame also.
Is the paint work original? Really nice condition. Look after her well. Have you thought to have wheels in gold silver like the 'For Your Eyes Only' car? It's modifying, but not silly tuning, and maybe they were that way once before.
Yeah the paint is all original. This was taken right after it was waxed so it looked particularly good. As for the wheels, I actually just had them redone. I stuck with the black insides but had the outer rims machined and polished. Not many of these cars have black rims and I think it sets the color off well.
The wastegate and the manifold for the turbo are being reproduced in the UK. Nice example of a copper version....true James Bond spirit...I'm currently rebuilding my 1984 Monaco white Turbo version.
Thanks man... Yeah, I'm keeping everything as original as i can. The only things that are going to get upgraded are the turbocharger which is from a later Esprit (because the wastegate of this vintage is very difficult to repair), and the brakes, which I'd like to upgrade to drilled front rotors and better pads all around.
dont slam the door!!!!!!
