Slayer has Tom with a great, brooding voice, heavy top-notch guitar playing and originality in their songs, plus some fucked up satanic lyrics. They don't try to hard to play "fast" in some of their songs which shows they have the talent to string a decent song and don't need to cover it up with some un-hearable gibberish - SOMETIMES!
