I do have a couple of requests, if you have them: Do you have any of the Weight Watchers commercials from the '80s and early '90s featuring Lynn Redgrave? Another one I am looking for is the Perdue chicken commercial featuring the "Pick Pick Pick" song. Thanks!
love to watch advertisements, without commercials, or advertisements, would not know what to buy, would love to watch advertisements for employment, very nice video, very up beat and makes me want to keep watching and even go out and shop, maybe can get employment watching videos and advertisements
That Fruit of the Loom ad is a RELATIVELY early one to show a couple sleeping together (a couple who aren't DEFINTELY MARRIED, I mean). I'm just a little bit surprised they showed it during Babes In Toyland (what would Annette think?).
Watching these commercials is soothing for some reason, unlike today's commercials that make me want to throw my TV out the window. Not that all of these old ads are necessarily good (some are), they're just much less irritating.
lol? that was really emotional. anyways these are weird. A chicken that knows the best place to get tender juicy chicken? WTF? and then he tells the chick to go to the place they probably fried his mom and served him to some fat ass wtf? lol
Interesting bit of trivia: on the same day this aired (December 19, 1986), the following films were released: Little Shop of Horrors, No Mercy, and-in limited release-Platoon.
This brought me to tears I was so overcome with nostalgia. You have no idea how much it means to me that you posted this (and the other commercials). Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
These truly are classic. I grew up in Bath, NY, so I remember most of this stuff very well. I have a request. By any chance do you have any sign on or sign off announcements from WETM or WENY? Also, any tape from either station's newscasts of that time? I'm sure any video like that is next to impossible to find, even on here, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks for the memories. If you have any more tape, please post it.
wow....this is def old school lol

Jewelry Stores are ALWAYS having a 50% Off Sale. Newscasters are in fact Shape Shifter lizards with average lifespans of around 300 years old.
