Honestly Dead Rising could've been so much more, so much better. But they were too focused on filling your screen with low poly zombies and delayed animations.

i really REALLY hope this game captures the dark side of zombies. In a real world situation, if everyone was heroes then the first group of "infecties" wouldnt survive a moment. Zombies are 1.Sad, people dieing, you child isnt invincible 2.intense (Both 1 and 2 proved in trailer) 3. you aren't invincible. 4.No hero this and that, i want to feel accomplished knowing i just survived, not of my awards, awards are just a reason to feel accomplished, without them, games like black ops would be dead.
@ponyphony09 That said, I hope they make it feel like a real accomplishment and good idea to save another survivor, if to have a meat shield or to actually have someone else to beat zombies over the head with. Also, I wouldn't mind having survivors turn their back on me, should it become advantageous for them (zombie eat dog after all).
@NightStalker321a also,if you ever played farcry 2, it seemed better to just restart the whole mission if your buddy died, to try again. I want to feel sad that my team is dead but not so sad that I restart a whole mission just to retry to save them. If they can turn on me then i should be able to turn on them, if they die i take their weapons/equipment, thus resulting in bitch or savior, no hero. And no corny resident evil story, or accidental experiment or even evil scientist story either...

U all need to stop gettin pissy at slipknows1 ur acting like freaking douchebags. Whether he's right or not doesn't matter. Ps3 is CAPABLE of better graphics, but there are VERY few games that they push that far. Watch some sidebysides of some games, you'll see that most games look better on xbox. Recently ps3 has been working alot harder to push their games farther. Although I think some of the xbox exclusives are worth keeping the console. Not to mention most of my friends have xbox. But ps3

@decs13vidz ha wii does suck but i never played on pc so wouldnt know but i had many ps3s and xboxs in the past and i think xbox has better graphics then ps3 but i really cant prove it because i never played ps3 on a hd tv before but mw2 graphics on xbox are amazing

Xbox live is alot more powerful and superior than psn. and yes this game wasnt coming out on ps3 because of the online play. And no 2010 is not the year of the ps3 thats all just bullshit they are both good consoles but xbox is far better in online play games and power than ps3. this has been proven by cnet and gamespot

I personally play on the PC and even all of my friends who play X360 & PS3 say that the PC can reach higher graphics, yes I KNOW there is no Blu Ray, but to be perfectly honest, i dont see the difference of Blu Ray & Hi-Def.

@masterofdisaster2k7 PC can reach much higher resolutions. That's a given. But where do you find games that utilize resolutions over 1080p? And the difference between blu-ray and HD is that blu-ray offers much better upscaling, a higher capacity (blu-ray discs can fit 50 gigs of data, DUAL layer hd-dvd's can only fit up to 30.). But seeing as how the cell processor is being used in many applications from the highest powered supercomputer on the planet, right down to eventually being in Mac's.

@masterofdisaster2k7 and eventually consumer prices hybrids consisting of opteron processors with cell proccessors as eccelerators, the PS3 really is the future in many ways. I love PC, and I can't wait to have one with hybrid and running linux and windows 7 flawlessly with raw processing power exceeding 2, 3, even 4 teraflops easy. Between ATI, IBM, Sony, Nvidia and Toshiba, PC's of the near future, will truly be amazing. No offense to Microsoft, but they really need to start doing something

@masterofdisaster2k7 they still were losing money on each console sold due to the high cost of production. That says a lot about a company. Still providing it's consumers with free extra content (online play) while losing money. Compared to being the richest company in the world and still making your consumers pay for extra content and even content that should be included out of the box (wifi, recharge, etc.). Now they finally come out with an elite that has wifi built in. Good job Microsoft.

Because they were developed on each platform, instead of being devved on the PC and 360 (similar development architecture) then ported to PS3. @slipknowns1 needing an upgraded graphics card. Besides it has 512 mb ram of which 256 mb are xdr ram. Making it that much better than the 360. Kinect vs. Playstation move is retarded. Move has both the camera and peripherals. Games can be played without controllers or with the most precise motion controls you can get on a console. Regardless of what you think, Kinects 2 rgb cameras and Ir sensor aren't what make the motion conrol possible. It's the software. Sony showed off Kinect software

@slipknowns1 back in 03/04 with patents from 99/00. One problem is the limitation. Even with the software, Kinect can ONLY track motion down to 1 - 3 centimeters. 1 centimeter tracking it starts to have sufficient latency. Move plus eye together can track down to 1 millimeter with no lag. AS well as detect tilt on every axis down to 1 degree. We have facial and voice recognition software. We are getting cross game chat, better friends lists, music playing while playing ANY game, voice messaging

The software allows almost anyone to make applications for the PS3, and then submit them for approval from Sony (which will be approved unless someway harmful). This means thousands of apps over the next year which will only further validify "PS3 it only does everything". Seeing as how the ps3 still hasn't been hacked and the 360 was hacked what, a few weeks after it's launch? Seeing as how we can swap
