Shreddy (well-named by the way!), I really enjoyed your video...incredible touch and tone, and you play both cleanly and with passion; pleasure finding your review. I noticed that some PRS Custom 24's come outfitted with the VHS and Vintage pick ups (similar to your's) and others with 59/09 pick ups...did you choose your set up for any particular reason? Thx in advance!
@cobuf I used to have a PRS with the 59/09's in it and it sounded very good too. When I got this one I just wanted to try the hotter pickups. They are both good sounding. If I still had both guitars I would do a comparison for you, but (sigh) you can't keep them all. :(
Hey Shreddy, I posted the vid of my CU24 upgrade to the Schecter C1+. I'm not as awesome as you but I think you'll appreciate the information in the flik. The title is Schecter C1+/PRS custom 24 Upgrade. Peace! \m/
Awesomeness! I have a Schecter C1+ converted with all PRS C24 electronics which ran less than $300. The HFS and Vintage Bass P/U's are the only thing I bought used. It's great to have the tonal options of the C24 AND be able to afford it. I know it'll never actually be a C24, but it will have to do until I can afford a real one. The C1 is still a comfortable guitar to play and has a similar neck with the 25" scale and 24 frets. Keep it up man you sound great!
@shreddy412 thats nice.. i really like the clean sound of it.. btw one more thing haha, do you know wat kind of frets your using? (small, medium, large, jumbo or something like that). Cuz im planning on building a guitar and i want to know some things that good guitar playes like you use.
PRS mira is maybe the best guitar I've ever tried. Can't imagine how good does that feel to play but Im sure it's godly *sigh* wish i had custom 24 some day. :/ Great playing btw (Y)
