I just installed android on my HD2, got magdlr and all that. First time it booted it worked and i got into android. But not after i got magdlr to boot it up it doesnt work. My phone will show mag booting up android/linux then the htc logo appears then the android with cyanogen mod under it and then the phone reboots. It keeps doing this no matte what. Please help me if you have any idea what to do. Ive tried nearly everything.

Never mind. It seems to only charge either off, or in the Andriod mode. It's still odd that it doesn't want to charge while it's in windows.

Hey, I'm having trouble charging my phone now. The battery doesn't really seem to charge when it's in the Android version, and it'll turn off, then turn back on and load windows, then it turns from green light, off, then orange as if it was charging, and it continues the pattern. I can't get it to charge unless it remains completely off.

-If a new version appeared you would be able to install it without formatting your phone easily.

-You will be able to come back to Windows mobile whenever you want.

-Android is better performance because it better cpu usage and it has task managers so it'll run faster when you quit applications. It also has overclocking ability's .

-Plus you can put windows mobile 7 on it if you wish.

One step that needs added. When you just unpack the zip file it doesn't go into the root folder. It creates a folder on the storage card called "Android" Move the contents of this folder to the root folder and follow the steps.

Text, web, voice, camera all work perfectly.

hey ive downladed it all okay but when i go into the storage card and click on the CLRCAD but it won't allow it. it comes up with the message: cannot be opened, either it s not signed in with a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem continues try reinstalling or restoring this file.

So i reinstalled, re-copied and everything but it still wont load up same for Haret.

How do i get through this?

I too got the "Black Screen with HTC logo" and I also repeated the steps several times but what i found out was that i had to wait but the process to finish.. it DID NOT boot up the same as Hakeem's so it throw me off.

ok guys - after you extract the files, copy the files FROM the Android folder to the root of your HD2 usb drive (ex: mine is E:\) and then drag the entire media folder on there.

if you can't reboot, go to file explorer and delete the Android folder that is created when you have already run Android, and then try to start it up again. works for me!!!

ok so I did everything...Yesterday I downloaded all the files to install Android. However Android worked one time. It opened an ran good enough to download bunch of apps than for some reason last night there was a message that SIM card was missing. I removed the battery and SIM, cleaned it and reinstalled. The phone now works good but when I want to run Android the phone freezes, I click on the first than second file it initiates and HTC scren comes on and stays on. Every time! What do do to fix

PS always upload contacts to my windows phone (an app that came with the phone) and save them to your SIM card just in case
