@YoungMaqler Why is everyone always thinking that about dutch people? I am dutch, and let me tell you this: I have never seen any kind of drugs, let alone taking it... Just because weed is allowed (in small amounts only) doens't mean that everyone is taking it. Let me tell you this, in the US and UK there the drugs problem is much bigger than here in Holland.

@arjennovic it is not even allowed by law. In fact all drugs are illegal in the Netherlands. Only posseing soft drugs in small quantities is tolerated. You may also grow like 3 weed plants for personal consumption, more... and you risk to be sentenced to prison.

@sibhls Don't be jealous. You honestly bothered looking at the reg code, what ya gonna do call up EASA? It's begrudgery. We all know, nobody is allowed on deck, but sometimes, the captain can bend the rules to make someones dream come true. After 9/11 we have such small chances in getting on flight deck, why would you want to point the finger at a crew who is obviously making someones day?

The runway itself is +- 11000 feet, to be precise I have to look on a chart if I have a flight again. At daytimes it's a pretty long way to taxi, but at night (only when you're the only one, and it doesn't rain) we are allowed to request a higher speed. But because most pilots are payed per hour, we don't.

@guilhermerrrr quite long yes, at the worst use of runways (18R and 18C) it is about 8,5 km taxiway.

(they have to drive around runway 18C if there is a high number of inbound or outbound traffic)

Yes that's true. We'v got mostly that if you're almost out of fuel (or low) we can land on 18C so we don't have to taxi the whole 'V way' as we call it. We call it like that because the Taxiway way is called (for the most part 'V')

Seriously. It was a Brazilian Embraer. I cant remember the exact model. I also didnt mention any airline or other details since I am not sure they were allowed to let me just sit there. Anyway, enjoy.
