In any country with finite resources, it is understandable that its citizens will feel threatened by huge waves of migration. Oh yeah, and Americans treat most immigrants fairly. What about that huge fence splitting the states from Mexico eh? There is plenty of poverty to go around in SA without adding more. Maybe instead of shooting down these poor immigrants who have no future in their countries, South Africa should help foster the growth of other poor African nations so they'll be self sufficient. When your country is dirt poor and there's a rich country next door, it's natural to want to immigrate there. But if their countries are doing well, they'll stay there.
