They are a good band on their own part, but I wouldn't call them metal. But I give this guy props on playing.
i call them progressive metal/rock. and don't tell me they aren't progressive, because my only argument would be to tell you to listen to city of evil. and they are very metal. even on waking the fallen, they were metal. they had actual riffs and even metallicaesque vocal stylings.

Avenged is a very good band, with great guuitarist. My friend is a way better guitarist than this kid though. Don't get me wrong well yeah power metal is kinda gay. So Dragon force is something i chose not to listen to. Synyster on the other hand can beat up Herman Li. And Zachy used to be the first guitarist, be you did not know that. lol

Yeah you can't really compare them until you put them head to head and have them try to play the best solo they can. A7X plays more melodic, while Dragonfoce being a power metal band is all about crazy guitar solos. So it's pretty difficult to say which is better. Unless you're an ignorant prick.

Avenged is a very good band, with great guuitarist. My friend is a way better guitarist than this kid though. Don't get me wrong well yeah power metal is kinda gay. So Dragon force is something i chose not to listen to. Synyster on the other hand can beat up Herman Li. And Zachy used to be the first guitarist, be you did not know that. lol

Yeah you can't really compare them until you put them head to head and have them try to play the best solo they can. A7X plays more melodic, while Dragonfoce being a power metal band is all about crazy guitar solos. So it's pretty difficult to say which is better. Unless you're an ignorant prick.

ok...nothing against the dude in this video...but for all you saying that he's awesome and a "god" are completely....retarded...i dont know much about avenged, but if thats what a lot of their songs are like, then they are just another band that everyone thinks is good because they have a few riffs here and there...and the only reason they think that is because they aren't musicians themselves.

Obviously you really don't know much about A7X.Listen to Syn's solo on Beast & the Harlot.Unholy confessions,Chapter four,And all things will end,An epic of wasted time,these are all great SONGS,not just a few riffs here,& there.

well..if you paid attention to my comment rather than thinking of what to say to debunk it, i said i dont know much about avenged. if avenged is good, that's fine, im not gonna waste my time looking for these songs if they all sound like this one. i'm just saying that the people commenting this vid are musically illiterate. try listening to buckethead, dragonforce, bob zabek, michael angelo(to name a few) for true guitar gods.

Fair enough.Most of them are not musicians(or at least experianced ones anyway)obviously.I,however have been an active guitarist for 17yrs,& I believe Synyster Gates,& Zacky Vengance are doing alot to raise the bar,in terms of profficiancy on the instrument.They are exposing alot of kids to a level of musicianship that has been forgotten for far too long.So this kid here may not be a guitar god,but at least he's not playing Drowning pool,or Limp Bizkit.I do understand what you'r saying.

I get what he's saying. This kid is good, but I can play a lot of A7X songs too. That doesn't make me a God though, does it? He's just saying that these people obviously arn't musicians.
Constructive critiscism: your tempo is fluxuating slightly. Make sure not to get into a rush while playing.
